"Count Down with You" The musical is called "Tick Tick Boom" in English, and his author is Jonathan Larson, a musical theaterwriter in American history, who has created three musicals in his lifetime, the most famous one is the well-known "Yoshiya Rental", but he died the night before the show was staged... In his short life of 35 years, although he has never met all the way, he has never given up his love for music, his insistence on artistic truth and his attitude towards the creation and breaking of musical theater in the new era.
"Count Down with You" is very large, 16 songs with very different styles, 54 pages of script, and countless stage scheduling and lighting positions, and I am only a short month away from the day I performed on stage as a rehearsal, which is a college course for professional musical theater actors, and for me it is an unfinished graduate-level musical theater "thesis".
Before the start of the show I took the first four lines, left the week before the performance I still had 12 scenes left, about 30 pages of content to roll over, I was so anxious that I could only sleep 3 hours a day, even then I felt stupid like a brainless person, remembered the lines and could not remember the lyrics, remembered the dance movements could not remember the location of the lights, and ushered in the first performance of January 13 in the process of countless disappointments in my own fear of the future.
I dare not recall the memory of standing on the stage for 2 hours and 10 minutes that day, and I also forgot the feeling of extreme adrenaline congestion, I only remember that I was praying before going on the stage, hoping that the creators of this play could give me more energy, the performance ended smoothly, the audience gave me a lot of encouragement and applause and support, when it was my turn to speak, I only remember that I said with tears, "I have not memorized so many words in the college entrance examination..." Everyone laughed and felt that I could develop the road of developing a comedian again.
After a round of performances, this drama has entered the second round after the New Year, and we are more and more familiar with the stage, more and more able to better control our performance rhythm, more accurately restore the personality and soul of the characters, and express every detail in the script more carefully.
Even so, I can't say that it is perfect now, but this may be the charm of the stage, which is like the process of life, in the little effort and persistence, there may be a small firework in the plain fireworks.
