Can the Afghan Taliban leadership share the pain? It has now split into three opposing camps!

On February 10, Russia's TASS news agency reported that the Taliban leadership, which currently holds power in Afghanistan, has split into three conflicting camps.

The first group was led by Abdel Ghani Baradal, Vice-Chairman of the Afghan Interim Cabinet, appointed by the Taliban. He and his supporters favor continued peace processes and negotiations with the United States.

The second group is a paramilitary branch of the Taliban, led by Yakub, who is the minister of defence of the Afghan Interim Government and the son of the first Taliban leader, Omar Mullah (1960-2013).

The third group is represented by Haqqani, who is affiliated with the Taliban, an organization known mainly for the numerous terrorist attacks that have taken place in Afghanistan. The militant group is led by Afghan Interior Minister Silajddin Haqqani.

It seems that Afghanistan is about to fall into civil unrest again!
