Please note: AIDS can also be transmitted through blood, encounter someone trauma and bleed a lot, if you have a fresh wound, you must pay attention to it, do not be infected with AIDS because of direct contact with other people's blood!

Just now, an AIDS patient left my office after receiving his medicine. Our patient is just 50 years old this year, and he is an AIDS patient confirmed in January 2021. Home in the countryside, yesterday I did an AIDS test for his wife and his daughter. Today he came alone to receive free antiviral AIDS drugs.

The way this patient contracted AIDS is rare at our current stage, and his route of infection belongs to blood transmission.

At this stage, due to the standardized management of clinical blood by medical institutions, blood stations advocate free blood donation. So because of blood transfusions infected with AIDS is no longer seen. I have been engaged in HIV prevention and treatment for more than ten years, and I have never encountered a case of AIDS infection due to blood transfusions.

The plot of this patient contracting AIDS is a bit like a TV series. According to him, one day in the spring of 2020, one of his fellow villagers was in a car accident while driving a farm tricycle, with a head injury and bloodshot, and he himself was cut by a saw when he was working in the orchard. Due to the urgency of the situation, when he was rescuing the junior, he encountered blood flowing from the wounds of the injured junior and contracted AIDS.

Although we feel incredible and do not quite believe what he says about this rare encounter. But if in reality, if someone really has trauma and a lot of bleeding, and we ourselves happen to have a relatively fresh, large-scale wound exposure, we must be careful, there may be be because we have contacted the fresh blood of people living with AIDS and become infected with AIDS.

A large amount of fresh blood of AIDS patients or infected people will contain a lot of HIV, and if it happens that our body has a large area and fresh wounds that have just been broken, HIV will enter our body through the wounds and thus infect AIDS.

Although such a scene is rare, the world is big and there are no surprises, but it is not that there is no such possibility. After all, infectious diseases like AIDS, many times the infected and the patient are in the incubation period, there is no clinical manifestation, there is no specific signs, we can not guarantee that there are no AIDS infected people or patients around.

Disease prevention should start from the bits and pieces of life, health is no small matter, prevention is always more important than treatment, especially for some infectious diseases that there is no way to cure at present, such as AIDS.
