When I was in junior high school, my Chinese teacher told us a little story about General Zhang Chong, who was also from Luxi and was a fellow villager with General Zhang, and for this reason, I always thought it was the real thing.
It is said that during the War of Resistance Against Japan, General Zhang Chong took a division of the Dian Army out of Dian to resist Japan, (there were more Dian troops going out to resist Japan, but General Zhang only had one division), at that time the equipment of the Dian Army was not very good, in order not to be drenched by rain, they each carried a bucket hat, in a battle with the Japanese army, the sky was raining heavily, there were devils chasing the soldiers behind, and there were often enemy planes to bomb, but General Zhang suddenly issued an order, let the soldiers throw away the bucket hats, none of them were allowed to stay, the generals felt strange, but the military orders were like mountains, They also had to brave the rain to lose the bucket hat, but after the Japanese soldiers picked up a big bargain, they picked up the bucket hat to wear on their heads, the rain covered the rain, the sky was sunny and the sun, after a while, the sky was clear, the Japanese sent planes to bomb, they specifically looked for the bombing of the bucket hat, they thought that the person who wore the bucket hat was the Dian army, those little devils had not yet reacted to why this was so, they had already been blown up all over the field, and General Zhang ordered the troops to turn back to attack, so easily fought a big victory.
This is the story told by the teacher more than forty years ago, and I wrote it out, and I don't know if there was such a thing in the history of the War of Resistance.
