Vienna, from the civilization of man began to be familiar with it

Austria, one of the richest, most livable and most beautiful countries in Europe, I absolutely believe that there should not be many friends who like to travel, and those who have not been to Austria. From this travelogue onwards, I will talk about What I see as Austria.

Vienna, the capital of Austria, is the world-famous music capital and one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe. On this trip to continental Europe, we set aside three days for sightseeing in Vienna, with the only idea to experience the charm of the city firsthand. At 5 a.m., the couple got up and took the earliest train from Budapest to Vienna, and before 9 a.m., we walked into the city that exudes art.

Vienna, absolutely worthy of its name, not only because of the music, but also because of the architecture of the city, the city's appearance, especially the friendliness of the people, left us both too much beauty. After getting off the train and asking for information on how to get to the hotel at the information center, it turned out that there were only three stops, so we decided to go on foot. Along the way, the daughter-in-law took the map to ask all the passers-by, and the English conversation came with all her mouths open, and without exception, patiently pointed out the route for us. After settling our luggage at the hotel, the two of us walked into the Vienna Metro Line 4.

The Vienna Metro is very different from our country and many of the European countries we've been to, where there are no manual tickets, no ticket gates, and anyone can come and go as they please. The two old automatic ticket vending machines made us both a little upset, because we didn't know how to buy tickets and what tickets were the best to buy. Just as we stood in confusion in front of the ticket machine, a mother came over with a little girl. The little girl asked if we were going to buy tickets and spend a few days in Vienna, where would we like to play? The daughter-in-law answered one by one. Therefore, the little girl told her daughter-in-law that it was best to buy a 48-hour public transportation ticket for the whole city, which was both convenient and convenient. With the help of the little girl, the ticket machine spat out two universal tickets.

On our first day in Vienna, we both strolled around until 9:30 p.m. before returning to the hotel. From 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., 12 hours, the two of us have a ticket in hand, taking the subway, tram, bus around the old town, must have seen a lot of things you want to see, right? So, why did you run so smoothly through a whole bunch of places? Must be help from the locals! In a day, there are no less than 20 people on the road, and everyone will patiently and carefully point out the route for us, tell us how many cars to take, which station to get off, what we can see after getting off the bus, and even when we stand on the side of the road and open the map, someone will come forward to ask if we need help. You pay attention to Figure 1, the old man is one of them, we just spread out the map, the old man came over and asked us if we were in any difficulty. What would it be like to meet such warmth at any time in a city for those of us who are traveling strangers? I have repeatedly said in my travelogue that European civilization originated from Christianity, philosophy and science, and from the perspective of the historical evolution of material civilization, almost all the things we use today are invented by Europeans, so the civilization of the human mind and spirit should be reflected in the "insignificant" in daily life, right? There are a lot of words written on it, can you feel the essence of civilization? This is what we generally mean by "Western society", this is the developed countries of Europe, this is the evil capitalism that I often hear when I am studying, these things are really the result of "material civilization" driving "spiritual civilization"? Do you believe it?

One day, 12 hours, what did we see? Too many stories. After thinking about it, let's talk about two first! Figures 8 to 12 are vienna's Musikverein, and there are not many friends who are not familiar with this place, right? Every year on January 1st, the Vienna New Year's Concert, even if you haven't seen it, you must have heard of it, right? Anyway, I'm a big fan of the Vienna New Year's Concert, a must-see every year, and sometimes write a little bit about my inner feelings. There was not a single audience in the Vienna New Year's Concert 2021, but I was in tears.

Walking into Vienna, how can such a famous place be spared? The Musikverein is only open twice a day, with one lecture in German at 10:00 a.m. and one in English at 12:00 a.m., but luckily both of us were able to catch up with the English commentary time. Watching the Vienna New Year's Concert on time every year, I never thought that I could still walk into the Musikverein, listen to the explanations of the staff, and see the artistic atmosphere of the Musikverein, and I was very satisfied. Watching the New Year's concert live, I reckon I won't be able to achieve it in my lifetime, because a ticket costs more than 1,000 euros, how can I be willing to spend so much money to watch a concert! Because the Golden Hall is being maintained, all the chandeliers are embellished on the ground, but anyway, I feel it, and watching the New Year's Concert will definitely feel different. Figure 13 is Karl's Cathedral, just behind the Musikverein, where there are many stories, and I will write a travelogue to tell its story.

Figures 14 to 18 are the Austrian National Opera, which together with the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy, and the Teatro de Paris in France, are known as the three most famous opera houses in Europe. I have seen the Paris Opera, but unfortunately missed it because of time when I traveled to Milan. Because the Austrian National Opera is not open, there is no chance to walk in and admire it. This beautiful Baroque building is located on the Ringstraße in Vienna's Old Town. It is said that it has a rule that is particularly different from other opera houses, "No works or debut works that are not famous can be staged, only works that have been affirmed." "The world's most famous composers, conductors, performers, singers and dancers have all made it their life's honor to perform at the Austrian State Opera. Nearly 300 performances a year, the repertoire is not repeated once. On May 15, 1869, when the opera house was first built, the famous Austrian music master Mozart performed his first performance here.

There are also several photos of this travelogue that have been illustrated, and their stories will be told later.
