In July 2012, Cao Yongqi, who graduated from Gannan Normal University, signed up for the University Students Volunteer Service In Western Region Program and came to Xinjiang. This year is his 10th year in Xinjiang and his 10th year as a volunteer.
In the past ten years, he and the volunteers of the team have built 8 warm current classrooms together, and sent books, new clothes, sports equipment and other love materials to more than 30,000 rural children in more than 100 rural primary schools across Xinjiang, totaling more than 6 million yuan.
