According to the Xiamen Evening News on February 10, 13 high school students of Xiamen YizhongHaicang Campus jointly wrote a letter of thanks to the bus company. The letter spread online, allowing driver Lin Yizhong and these students to "ride" for more than two years to surface.

Lin Yizhong is a driver at Xiamen Bus Group Haicang Bus Company. For more than two years, he has driven a customized special line to serve weekend travel for students at the Xiamen Yizhong Haicang Campus. In the meantime, he faced a post adjustment, but at the request of the children, Master Lin chose to sacrifice his weekend break and continue to take charge of the steering wheel for this customized line. His attentive, caring and patient service has touched these children for more than two years. So before the Spring Festival, the children who knew how to be grateful came up with the "joint letter" to express their gratitude.

Attentive Always arrive at school half an hour in advance and wait After the pick-up, check the carriage to collect the left-behind items

In September 2019, a customized bus that provides students from Xiamen Yizhong Haicang Campus with a shuttle service to and from school was opened, and more than 30 lines have been used to serve the students of the school. "This makes it a great convenience for our students to travel!" Huang Zhenyu, a senior high school student at Xiamen Yizhong Haicang Campus, took a customized bus D806 Road, which was initially called D47 Road and D48 Road, but the driver has always been Lin Yizhong.

Huang Zhenyu is the initiator of this thank-you letter. He said that when he was a freshman in high school, there were 32 students on the island who took the route, and then some students moved to live around the school, and now only 13 students are left to take the customized bus.

Huang Zhenyu introduced that over the past two years, Master Lin has safely shuttled them more than 200 times. From the first year of high school to the third year of high school, the school time varies from year to year, but regardless of the time or evening, Master Lin always arrives at the starting point half an hour in advance, waiting for everyone to get on the bus, so as to avoid the students being blown by the wind, rain and sunburned outdoors in the cold winter, the rainy season, and the hot summer days.

Every Saturday afternoon, Master Lin always arrives at Xiamen Yizhong Haicang Campus half an hour early to pick up 13 senior high school students back to the island. "Not only did he arrive half an hour early, but he had to wait until everyone had arrived before he left, sometimes an extra minute or twenty minutes." Huang Zhenyu said that the weekend departure is relatively hasty, there will always be students to get on the bus late, and some students are so busy that they forget to wear masks. Master Huang always waited patiently, reminding them to wear masks and preparing masks for students who did not carry masks.

After picking up and dropping off students, the attentive Master Lin will also check the carriage, pack up the mobile phones, e-pass cards and other items left by the careless classmates, and then send them to the parents' WeChat group on this line and return them to the students in time.

Intimate sharing of location in the parent group before departure so that parents can prepare for the transfer in advance

The line opened by Master Lin does not stop in Haicang, and stops at several stations on the island, such as Wuyi Square, SM City Square, Tangbian, and Kangle Primary School, to improve operational efficiency and allow children to get home as soon as possible.

Huang Zhenyu's mother said that Master Lin's service is very thoughtful, and he will share the location to the parents' WeChat group before each departure, so that parents know where the car is driving and can prepare for the transfer in advance.

On Sunday afternoon, Master Lin drove from Haicang to several stations on the island to pick up students and return to school. If any of the students hadn't arrived yet, he would drive to the stop and wait a minute or two. Master Lin said: "You can wait for an extra minute or twenty minutes at the school gate, but you can't stop for too long at the station on the island, and at most you have to wait for a minute or two before you have to drive away." Huang Zhenyu's mother said that a student was late to the station and did not get on the bus, and the parents still blamed Master Lin in the group. In fact, that was because the station could not stop for too long, but Master Lin did not say much and suffered silently.

In September last year, due to work adjustments, Master Lin stopped operating shuttles on this line. Huang Zhenyu said that Master Lin's enthusiasm and careful service have been unanimously recognized by the students. Later, at the request of his classmates, Master Lin chose to sacrifice his weekend time to continue to "escort" them.

"How fortunate we were to meet Master Lin, who is conscientious, warm and touching, friendly and kind." Huang Zhenyu said that the nearly three years of driving experience has made him feel the warm help and convenience services provided by the school and society for students. Love will be passed on, and he and his classmates will follow Master Lin's example, be helpful and give back to the society.
