Range anxiety is always a hurdle that electric vehicles can't get around, so there is a solution for plug-in hybrid models (PHEV). But this brings another problem: most of the PHEV in the pure electric state of the mileage is less than 100 kilometers, individual models can barely break through 100 kilometers, considering the weather, road conditions and charging facilities may not be ideal, in most scenarios, PHEV pure electric mileage practicality is limited, in the state of power loss is higher fuel consumption.
On January 14, at the great wall motor's "0 anxiety intelligent electric" strategy conference, Weipai brought its own solution - mocha DHT-PHEV with long cruising range.
This is a clear product logic: since consumers are worried that their PHEV is "tasteless and discarded" in a pure electrical state, the simplest solution is to dispel mileage anxiety and make consumers feel that PHEV can be the same as BEV, "true fragrance".
So there is a "miracle" mocha DHT-PHEV: by equipping a large power battery with a capacity of nearly 40 kWh, the long-lasting version of the MOCHA DHT-PHEV has a pure electric range of 204 kilometers under the WLTC conditions, and the four-wheel drive performance version of the rear axle motor can also reach 175 kilometers. How to use pure electric endurance of 175-204 km? The pure electric mileage of 204 kilometers, even in unfavorable road conditions and external environments, is enough to ensure more than one day of pure electric commuting, thus truly realizing the electrification of daily commuting, and avoiding the chicken rib dilemma of many PHEV models with shorter pure electric endurance and "tasteless food, pity to abandon it".
As for the fuel-driven part, range is never a concern for PHEV models. The MOCHA DHT-PHEV has a cruising range of more than 1,000 kilometers under full fuel and electricity, and the fuel consumption of 100 kilometers is only 0.45L. In terms of more reference power loss energy consumption, even if the "dead weight" of the electric drive system is dragged, the fuel consumption of the two versions of mocha DHT-PHEV is only 5.55L and 6.3L respectively, which is even lower than some fuel vehicles of the same level.
This is not as simple as "vigorous miracles".
A larger power battery means more dead weight in the state of power loss, how to reduce the load forward of a PHEV, you need to work the technical route and working logic of the hybrid system.

In the field of intelligent driving, the Mocha DHT-PHEV is equipped with the NOH intelligent pilot assistance function that was only available in the previous top-end models, which can realize intelligent access to high-speed ramps and reach the highest level of practical advanced driving assistance.
At the press conference on the 14th, Weipai announced that the mocha DHT-PHEV will start pre-sale from now on, with a pre-price of 299,000 yuan for the smart version and 315,000 yuan for the performance version. As the top model of Mocha and the flagship model of Weipai, the "0 anxiety" supported by DHT technology will become the main selling point of Weipai's future promotion of brand high-end.
