New energy subsidies shrink Xiaopeng P7 rose in price by thousands of yuan

Starting this year, the subsidy for new energy vehicles will be reduced by another 30%, for car companies to either resist hard, or can only increase prices, and now bullish prices have become the absolute mainstream. Xiaopeng announced the price increase plan, but it does not seem that the amplitude is large.

Among them, the Xiaopeng flagship sedan P7 series rose by 4300-5900 yuan, and the price after the latest subsidy was 22.42-40.99 million yuan; the new P5 series rose by 4800-5400 yuan, and the price after the latest subsidy was 16.27-22.93 million yuan; the SUV model G3i series rose by 4800-5400 yuan, and the price after the latest subsidy was 154.6-19.32 million yuan.

In fact, the new policy has been implemented from New Year's Day in 2022, and the reason why Xiaopeng Automobile did not announce the latest price until today is because it announced at the end of December 2021 that it was decided before 24:00 on January 10, 2022, and it can also enjoy the 2021 standard subsidy, and today has just passed this time node.

It should be noted that this time only for the price adjustment, the design, configuration and other aspects have not changed.

As one of the three strongest domestic new car manufacturing forces, Xiaopeng Automobile ushered in a substantial growth last year, delivering a total of 98155 units throughout the year, 3.6 times that of 2020, of which Xiaopeng P7 is the most popular, with an annual delivery volume of 60569 units, accounting for 62% of the total annual delivery.

Xiaopeng P5 was launched late, starting from October last year, follow-up deliveries continued to climb, setting a new record of 5,030 units in December; and as the first model launched by Xiaopeng since its inception, the G3 series performed more generally, with a cumulative delivery of 29,721 units last year, but a 148% increase compared to 2020.

With the decline of new energy subsidies, the resistance of consumers to buy electric vehicles and other products in 2022 has increased by one point, and this time it has officially entered the stage of fighting bayonets with products and strength, and this year is indeed the most critical year for new energy vehicle companies.
