Weilai, which used to be ranked as the boss, has been in a downturn this year. Weilai delivered 91429 units in the whole year, an increase of 109.1% year-on-year, the total amount is not as good as Xiaopeng, and it is greatly chased by the ideal, and the sales advantage is no longer there.
The decline in Niolai's sales position is also related to the "high price" strategy it adheres to. Li Bin, the founder of Weilai, has publicly stated: "Weilai will not do models of products below 300,000 yuan and insist on taking the high-end route." At present, the starting price of NIO ES6, EC6, ES8 and other models on sale is more than 300,000 yuan. On the other hand, Xiaopeng, whose sales have peaked this year, is frantically exploring the market, and the Xiaopeng P5 equipped with the latest technology of dual lidar + XPilot 3.0 has reached below 200,000 yuan, in addition to the cheaper Xiaopeng G3i, which has won more users' first choice for car purchase.
