January car sales list: Nissan Xuanyi still wins the top spot! Wuling models became the only domestically produced of the top five

According to the sales data released by the Passenger Car Market Information Joint Committee, in January 2022, the wholesale sales of narrow passenger cars nationwide were 2.172 million units, up 6.8% year-on-year and down 8.2% month-on-month. Among them, the wholesale sales of cars were 1.029 million units, up 5.1% year-on-year.

Xuan Yi won the January sales crown this month and ushered in a good start. January sales were 61,000 units, up 5.5% year-on-year; New Langyi rose from third to second place this month, and Hongguang MINI fell from the first place in November to third, with sales of 45,000 units and 37,000 units, up 7.6% and 0.8% respectively. The Camry rose three places to fourth, with sales of 28,000 units in January. It was followed by the Tesla Model 3, which remained fifth with sales of 26,000 vehicles. Among the top 10 autonomous models, BYD Qin, Yidong and Emgrand ranked sixth, eighth and ninth respectively, with sales of 26,000, 22,000 and 21,000 units, with BYD Qin surging by 962.1% year-on-year. It is worth noting that Changan Yidong rose from the fortieth to the eighth, and the BMW 5 Series also rose from the thirty-fourth to the tenth, with a bright performance and a rapid upward momentum.

Volkswagen's Sagittarius sales of 26,000 units this month rose from ninth to seventh, but down 28.7% year-on-year;

New Polaroid sold 18,000 units, rising four places to thirteenth;

However, Volkswagen's Magtend sales ranking declined, from eleventh to seventeenth, with sales of 16,000 vehicles, and Volkswagen's three models fell significantly year-on-year.

GAC Toyota Ralink fell one place to 11th, with sales of 19,000 units, down 32.8% year-on-year. Corolla fell sharply, from fourth to twenty-sixth, with sales of 12,000 units, down 66% year-on-year. The Accord rankings fell again to fifteenth place with sales of 17,000 units, and the Accord has fallen for four consecutive months. In contrast, the Passat and Mazda 3 Axela rose sharply year-on-year, the Passat rose by 646.4% year-on-year, and the Mazda 3 Axela rose 56.5% year-on-year, rising from 69th to 23rd.

In terms of autonomous models, the roewe i5, which ranked 21st, sold 14,000 units in the top 30 units, and the MG5 sold 13,000 units, ranking 22nd. BYD Han sold 13,000 vehicles, ranking 25th; BYD Dolphin also rushed into the top 30, with sales of 10,000 vehicles. In terms of luxury models, the BMW brand performed well, with the BMW 5 Series and BMW 3 Series ranking high, ranking tenth and twelfth respectively. The Audi A4 rose two places to sell 18,000 units, ranking 14th, while the Audi A6 also ranked 29th with sales of 11,000 units. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class ranked nineteenth, with sales of about 16,000 units.

In January, four of the top 10 models were owned and six were joint ventures.
