The Third Corps was responsible for this task, and Xie Fang, as a Chinese, left in anger after seeing the merciless massacre of the Japanese army, and later returned to the Third Corps to study under the mediation of Zhang Xueming, and then successfully graduated from the Japanese Army Officer School.
After graduation, Zhang Xueming was arranged by his father to be in Tianjin and served as the mayor of Tianjin and the chief of the police. Zhang Xueming then asked Xie Fang to defend Tianjin in the Tianjin Defense Team, and Xie Fang fully demonstrated his excellent leadership.
He continued to recruit aspiring young people in society, and the final team reached 200 people. He equipped this team with sophisticated weapons, and at the same time trained them with the requirements of the army, and this team made a great contribution to quelling the Tianjin riots.
One night in October 1931, Tianjin was filled with gunfire and insults, and riots broke out in Tianjin. Both riots were suppressed by the security team led by Xie Fang, and Kenji Doihara, who later served as the planner of the riot, lamented: I didn't expect that students would beat their teachers so hard. Although the riot subsided, under pressure from the Nationalist government in Nanjing, Xie Fang was forced to leave his post.
Later, he left Tianjin and went to Zhang Xueliang's command, and received the attention of Zhang Xueliang, who even wanted to marry his sister to Xie Fang, but failed to do so.
Because after seeing the incompetence and corruption of the Nationalist government, he quit the Kuomintang and joined the Chinese Communist Party, becoming an excellent underground party member and passing on important information to our party in the Northeast Army.
In 1940, Xie Fang was betrayed by traitors, and seeing that his identity was exposed, he had to travel to Yan'an. When he met Chairman Mao in Yan'an, the chairman was particularly happy to see xiefang: when he returned to Yan'an, he went home, and he was completely liberated. In this way, Xie Peiran changed his name to Zhifang.
Xie Fang, who returned to Yan'an, began military teaching with what he learned in Japan. He later returned to the northeast to participate in several battles.
Shortly after the founding of New China, the Korean War broke out, and after many meetings, it was decided that General Manager Peng would be the commander-in-chief of the Volunteer Army, Han Xianchu, Deng Hua, and others would take turns as deputy commanders, and xiefang would appoint chiefs of staff of the volunteer army.
When the volunteer army had not yet entered Korea, the xiefang then pulled Deng Hua and others to a meeting: As far as the terrain of North Korea is concerned, the Korean army is in the far south, forming a rear void, and if MacArthur then looks at the rear to land, it will face the enemy on its stomach and back, and may completely destroy the army.

After five battles in Korea, the US military finally retreated to the south of the 38th Line, began to take the initiative to seek peace, and from 1951 onwards, the two sides began to stop and go through a two-year negotiation process.
Xie Fang is also one of the negotiators, and he not only shows that he advises Mr. Peng on the battlefield, but also can talk about the battle in terms of negotiations. After this incident, Mr. Peng would always jokingly say to Xie Fang: When the battle is over, let you follow Premier Zhou to diplomacy.
In July 1953, the two-year negotiations finally ended, and with the signing of the armistice agreement between the two sides, the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea finally ended, and everyone could return to Korea.
In 1955, when assessing the criteria for awarding titles, the solution party should at least be awarded the title of lieutenant general or admiral, but in the end the solution party was only a major general.
