Zhang Zuolin was born in poverty, he went from a wandering child to a Qing soldier, and then from a Qing soldier to the head of the local "insurance team"; finally accepted the reorganization of the Qing government and became the commander of the local patrol battalion. By participating in the suppression of the Xinhai Revolution, he took the opportunity to enter the central provincial capital of the rule, and soon turned into a new upstart of the Republic of China. After that, due to fate, he became the commander of the Republic of China Division, the Governor of Fengtian Province, and the Inspector of the Three Eastern Provinces, and became a frontier official in charge of the military and political affairs of the Northeast. Subsequently, he used the northeast as a base and then called himself Bingguannei, repeatedly won the Central Plains, manipulated the Beijing regime several times, influenced the national political situation, and finally became the last head of state of the Beiyang government.
Zhang Zuolin has six daughters. Zhang Shoufang is the only daughter of Zhang Zuolin's original Zhao clan and is Zhang Zuolin's eldest child. The second lady of the Lu clan only had two daughters, Zhang Huaiying and Zhang Huaiqing. Zhang Huaiyi and Zhang Huaixi were born to the fourth lady, Xu Shi, and were Zhang Xuesi's half-sisters. Zhang Shoufang was promised by Zhang Zuolin to Bao Yinglin, the son of Bao Guiqing, the overseer of Heilongjiang. After Zhang Zuolin's death, Bao Yinglin proposed divorce and another marriage. Zhang Xueliang and Zhang Shoufang have a good relationship. In his later years, Zhang Xueliang recalled this big sister and always felt a lot of emotions. When his mother died, Zhang Xueliang was only twelve years old, and the eldest sister, Shoufang, was three years older than Zhang Xueliang. For this reason, Shoufang took on the responsibility of taking care of her younger brother. The fate of the fourth daughter, Huaiqing, was the most tragic, and Zhang Zuolin promised her to Zhang Xun's son Zhang Mengchao. Five daughters: Zhang Huaixi. The son of Jin Yunpeng, the premier of the Beiyang government, was not yet married, and Zhang Zuolin was killed by the explosion, and the marriage could not be concluded. After the "9.18" incident, Zhang Huaixi went to the United States, got married and had children, and lived a stable life.
Sixth daughter: Zhang Huaimin. She was only four years old when Zhang Zuolin was killed by the bombing, so she was also the only one of the six sisters who was not arranged by her father. In 1948, she settled in Taiwan with her mother and worked at a university in Taiwan.
Speaking of Zhang Zuolin's eight sons, most people now are only familiar with Zhang Xueliang, who is famous for the "Northeast Yizhi", the September 18 Incident, and the Xi'an Incident, but know very little about his seven younger brothers. Zhang Xueming was the second son of the Zhang family, a Kuomintang lieutenant general, and Zhang Xueliang's half-brother, the character Xiqing. Graduated from the Tohoku Kobudo Hall. He graduated from the Japanese Infantry College in 1919 and served as a trainee military attaché at the Embassy in Japan. In 1929, he returned to China, served as the chief of the Tianjin Municipal Police, the mayor of Tianjin, and lived in Europe, America and Hong Kong after the July 7 Incident. During Zhang Xueming's tenure as mayor of Tianjin, his most outstanding political achievement was to effectively handle the "plainclothes" incident, quell the disputes provoked by the Japanese, and slow down the pace of Japan's march into north China.
After the fall of Hong Kong in 1941, Zhang Xueming was forced to return to the mainland, and in 1943 he was forced to accept a member of the Military Commission of the Wang Jingwei regime. After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he was not prosecuted, and he served as a senator in the Northeast Governor's Headquarters of the Kuomintang government, and a deputy director of the Northeast Governor's Office and a general senator.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Zhang Xueming successively served as deputy director of the Tianjin Municipal Construction Bureau, deputy director and consultant of the Tianjin Municipal Engineering Bureau, member of the Fifth Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, and vice chairman of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee. He was persecuted and imprisoned during the Cultural Revolution and rehabilitated in 1973.
Zhang Xueming is a member of the 3rd to 5th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a member of the Standing Committee of the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Chinese People' He died in Beijing on April 9, 1983. Zhang Xueming is a recognized gourmet and has studied the major cuisines, so the restaurants in the residence are very elaborate in terms of decoration and practicality. Zhang Xueming's wife, Zhu Luojun, was the sixth daughter of Beiyang Premier Zhu Qijun, the sister of his brother's scandalous girlfriend, Miss Zhu Wu.
Zhang Xue was zhang Xueliang's third brother, and he was also on the train when Zhang Zuolin was killed by the bombing, but escaped the disaster by going to another carriage. Zhang Xuezeng was mischievous when he was a teenager, and it is said that he was the only person in the Shuai Mansion who dared to make demands on Zhang Zuolin in person. Zhang Xue once became an adult and made a foreign girlfriend in Beidaihe. After Madame Xu knew about this, she was greatly angered: stuff! What kind of system does a Chinese marry a foreign woman?" Lady Xu ordered Zhang Xuezeng to kneel on the ground, pick up the whip and smoke it, and tie him up and give him to Zhang Xueming, who was the mayor of Tianjin at the time, to deal with it.
After the Xi'an Incident broke out in December 1936, Zhang Xuesi was arrested by the Kuomintang authorities. Soon released to continue his studies, he graduated in early 1937 and went to the Fifty-third Army of the Northeast Army as a probationary platoon leader and captain staff officer. Dispatched by the CCP organization, he went to Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuhan and other places to contact the generals of the Northeast Army and carry out activities to strive for the release of Zhang Xueliang.
Zhang Xuesen is the fifth brother of Zhang Xueliang, after the "September 18" incident, Zhang Xuesen left Shenyang to live in Tianjin, and then studied in the United States to study aviation, and worked in Taiwan after completing his studies. Zhang Xuesen is the closest of the brothers to Zhang Xueliang. His daughter Zhang Luyu was appointed by Zhang Xuesen to be by Zhang Xueliang's side for a long time and take care of Zhang Xueliang.
Zhang Xueliang's eighth brother, Zhang Xuequan, has been staying in Tianjin, and in his later years because of Zhang Xueliang, he received certain good treatment and died in Tianjin in 1992.
Most of the second generation of the Zhang family has been ancient, and only Zhang Huaimin is still alive among the eight men and six women. But the third, fourth, and fifth generations of the Zhang family have spread all over the world.
