At this time, in front of the Sixtieth Army were four divisions of the First Army of the United Nations Army and a United States Air Wing, which was still very powerful.
Subsequently, under the cover of several aircraft and a number of large-caliber cannons, the United Nations army launched a group charge against the volunteer attacking troops in an attempt to retake the lost positions. However, in the face of the tenacious volunteer army, the enemy did not take any advantage, and several successive rounds of charge were repelled.
While the enemy continued to charge the positions of the Sixtieth Army, Zheng Weishan promptly ordered the Right Wing Sixty-seventh Army to immediately launch an attack on the Cross Mountain to reduce the positive burden of the Sixtieth Army.
