In Xu Zhimo's short life, it was his original wife Zhang Youyi who was the most deeply injured.
Zhang Youyi was born in a large family in Jiangsu, and entered the girls' school at the age of 12, when it was 1912, it can be said that Zhang Youyi received the most advanced secondary education in China. But Zhang Youyi's education did not last, and for women in the early 20th century, marriage was always the first.

At this time, Xu Zhimo is about to study abroad, and his life still has a broad world. But Zhang Youyi's life has only one Xu Zhimo. The emotional estrangement between the two has become deeper and deeper, and Xu Zhimo originally did not want to marry Zhang Youyi in his heart, saying that this was "the order of the matchmaker, subject to his parents." This is to describe Zhang Youyi, but don't think that Zhang Youyi is a recurrence of old love, she just saw a face that resembled her son, and she couldn't help but be sad. Xu Zhimo stayed in Berlin for a while, frequently writing letters to Lu Xiaoman, and in later letters, he wrote: She has made great progress in the past two years, and her steps of independence have stood firmly... She really wasn't afraid of anything now.
Zhang Youyi has indeed become a strong woman as Xu Zhimo said. After returning to China, she worked as vice president of the Shanghai Women's Bank, managed the finances of the fledgling National Socialist Party, and worked in the dye business. In 1972, Zhang Youyi moved to the United States and has been living in New York in her later years.
Xu Zhimo gave Zhang Youyi an irreparable emotional wound, and in this regard he is definitely a "scumbag".
