Before entering the studio to officially shoot, I was already "hungry and thirsty", looking at the PHOTOS of the NIO ET5 over and over again, checking its model introduction and configuration table over and over again, because I really liked this car so much! The last time I was so excited about a new car, I can't remember when.
After the release of the NIO ET5, it has become the most booked model of NIO on the first day so far, and after the price was announced, the booking interface was once crowded by a crowd of consumers to caton. Of course, I also booked.

1. Price
The NIO ET5 was priced at 328,000 yuan before the subsidy for a 75kWh battery and 386,000 yuan before the subsidy for a 100kWh battery. 2. Appearance

The dimensions of NIO ET5 are 4790*1960*1499(mm) and the wheelbase is 2888mm. The length and wheelbase are between the standard-axle BMW 3 Series and the long-axle BMW 3 Series, but the body width exceeds the BMW 5 Series. Nio ET5 is equipped with NIO Autonomous Driving, NIO's latest autonomous driving technology, and has 33 high-performance perception hardware, including 1 lidar, 7 8-megapixel HD cameras and 4 3-megapixel Sony surround view cameras.
Through NIO's supersensitive system Aquila and supercomputing platform Adam, ET5 will gradually realize the point-to-point autonomous driving experience in scenarios such as high-speed, urban area, parking, and power exchange. The full function of NAD adopts the service subscription model of "monthly activation and monthly payment", that is, ADaaS (AD as a Service), and the service fee is 680 yuan per month, providing users with more flexible purchase options and reducing the pressure of one purchase.

4. Interior and space
As the vehicle photographed this time is still in the trial production stage, it is not yet possible to enter the interior. However, during the filming process, we accidentally opened the door and felt the opening texture of this car, as long as you touch the inside of the door handle, the electric suction door will automatically pop open, which is very advanced. In terms of interior design, WEILAI ET5 basically continues the design style of ET7, and the biggest difference lies in the position of the door panel and the inner door handle. ET5's interior uses a large number of Clean+ environmental protection materials, WEI plans to enter 25+ countries and regions in 2025, ET5 will also be introduced to the global market, the application of a large number of environmental protection materials is not only conducive to protecting the environment, but also conducive to enhancing the reputation of ET5 in the global market.
The interior of et5 still maintains the design of a horizontal screen (full LCD instrument) and a vertical screen (central touch screen) of Weilai, and the screen size is relatively restrained to ensure the overall design of the interior. But through the AR/VR hardware embedded in the car, the ET5 can realize the NIO panoramic digital cockpit PanoCinema.
NIO and AR equipment company NREAL have jointly developed exclusive AR glasses that can project a large screen with a visual range of 6 meters and are equivalent to 201 inches; and nio VR Glasses have been developed in cooperation with NOVEL, equipped with ultra-thin Pancake optical lenses, which can realize binocular 4K display. With the 256-color digital light curtain mood light and the 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos sound system as standard, the movie viewing and entertainment experience in the ET5 car is exciting.
In terms of rear space, through the window glass, it can be seen that the rear space of the ET5 is definitely larger than the standard axis BMW 3 Series, which is closer to the level of the long axis BMW 3 Series. Thanks to the 1960mm width, the rear lateral space is completely unnecessary. As for the performance of the head space, it is difficult to judge now, and it can only be experienced later when the interior is opened.
