Recently, the official website of Mercedes-AMG officially announced the official map of the new AMG C 43 and related parameters. Two models were released, the new AMG C 43 sedan and the all-new AMG C 43 touring sedan, which accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.6 and 4.7 seconds respectively under the combined effect of the 2.0T engine + 48V hybrid. Since the possibility of the new AMG C 43 touring sedan entering the country is slim, we will only introduce the new AMG C 43 sedan.
From the outside, the AMG C 43 adds the AMG family-style straight waterfall front grille to the new generation of C-Class sedans, and its AMG identity can be easily recognized by the vertical chrome decoration and the AMG badge. The AMG C 43 is equipped with an AMG front skirt and a sporty air intake design that further optimizes the aerodynamic characteristics of the new car.
The "TURBO ELECTRIFIED" nameplate appeared on the fenders of the new car, indicating that it was no longer the "BITURBO 4MATIC" of the past, and the electric turbine became its new highlight. The new car will have 18-inch rims as standard overseas, and support the optional 19-inch and 20-inch wheels. The design of the small duck wing was added to the rear of the car, and the tail logo was blackened. The large diffuser under the rear of the car and the two-sided four-way exhaust system are very eye-catching.
In the interior, the AMG C 43 features black trim and red trim as the main tone, and carbon fiber trim appears throughout the car without accident. The red seat belt with barrel seats and the suede-wrapped AMG steering wheel bring the sporty atmosphere to the extreme.
In terms of power, the AMG C 43 is equipped with a 2.0T engine codenamed M139l supplemented by a 48V motor. For the first time, the engine features electronic turbocharging from F1, which can greatly improve power responsiveness, and the 10kW extra power provided by the 48V hybrid system can also compensate for the unevenness caused by turbo lag, while also allowing power to be built on the 300kW (408 hp) provided by the 2.0T engine, which has a peak torque of 500Nm. This engine is matched by the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9-speed transmission and is equipped with a four-wheel drive system.
