The full-process production line prototype vehicle, also known as the TT (Tooling Trial) vehicle, is a trial production and commissioning vehicle for full-process production according to the control plan before large-scale production. In the TT stage, the vehicle product and process maturity will be closer to the requirements of mass production, and more extreme tests will be carried out.
After completing the three core tasks of "Mass Production Process Document Verification", "Production Line Operator Training" and "Verification of Production Line Manufacturing Capability", the vehicle will enter the pre-production stage and prepare for mass production.
As the first mass production model manufactured by NIO's second production base, the official rollout of the ET5 full-process production line trial car also marks that the entire production base has realized the full line of production line and officially entered the car verification stage. Construction of the production site began on April 29, 2021, and it took only one year from the groundbreaking to the first batch of full-process production line trial production vehicles rolled off the production line.
