In the memory of his colleagues, Liao Zhizhi is a silent person, although he does not speak much, but from his body, he can always feel the unique wisdom and sharpness of the criminal police.
Before his death, Liao Zhizhi was the captain of the criminal police brigade of the Genhe City Public Security Bureau in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. On June 13, 2018, Liao Zhizhi assisted the police in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, in investigating a vicious homicide case, and after overnight investigation and visits, the case made a major breakthrough. At noon on June 14, after a night without closing his eyes, he hurried back to the office to study the arrest plan with his colleagues. At 4 p.m., Liao Zhizhi suddenly suffered a heart attack and died on the job, and his life was forever fixed at the age of 45. In 2019, Liao Zhizhi was posthumously awarded the "National Public Security System Second-Level Heroic Model".
In 1996, after graduating from the police academy, Liao Zhizhi plunged into the front line of public security, and successively engaged in investigation work in the criminal police brigade of the Genhe City Public Security Bureau and the AaronShan criminal police squadron.
Fighting crime and protecting justice, Liao Zhizhi has been fighting in the front line of investigation and cracking cases.

In March 2005, there were a number of burglary cases in Genhe City, mainly stealing cash, gold and silver jewelry, and the social impact was bad. After investigation and visit, Liao Zhizhi identified the important suspect Kong Mou, but Kong Mou refused to admit it. Liao Zhizhi conducted repeated and meticulous investigations at various crime scenes and finally collected important evidence. Under the strong evidence, Kong finally opened his mouth to confess more than 10 criminal facts.
But Liao's intuition told him that the case was not so simple. Therefore, he once again combed and analyzed the case situation repeatedly and came up with an accurate interrogation plan. Under the strong offensive, Kong finally confessed his guilt and confessed to 30 cases of burglary.
From October 2015 to early 2016, the criminal police brigade of the Genhe Municipal Public Security Bureau received more than 20 reports from the masses, all of which reported that Dong was suspected of fraud. However, the criminal suspect Dong Mou evaporated like a human being and could not find a trace, and the case was solved for a while and reached an impasse. Liao Zhizhi repeatedly screened and expanded clues day and night, and finally obtained the relevant information of Dong Mou. Liao Zhizhi immediately led investigators to Guangdong to carry out an investigation, and finally confirmed that Dong had used his brother's personal identity information to flee abroad.
On June 30, 2016, the criminal suspect Dong X was arrested when he entered the country, and Dong X confessed to the criminal facts of defrauding more than 20 people, including Li X and Du X, and the amount involved was more than 30 million yuan.
From the police for 22 years, Liao Zhizhi has always adhered to his original intention, not forgetting his duties and missions, organizing and participating in the detection of more than 5,000 criminal cases, including more than 150 homicides, and has been awarded 1 second class merit and 4 third class merits.
In September this year, the Hulunbuir City Public Security Bureau Heroic Model Deeds Publicity Group went to police camps and campuses around the world to tell the story of Liao Zhizhi and other heroic models, and their stories touched everyone.
The Genhe Municipal Public Security Bureau also filmed and produced a micro-film based on Liao Wisdom, which truly restored the old public security officer's mental journey of chasing the dream of public security, and educated and guided the city's public security police to learn the noble spirit of Liao Wisdom.
Zhang Li, Liao Zhizhi's apprentice and deputy captain of the criminal police brigade of the Genhe City Public Security Bureau, said: "Following the master, I have learned a lot, and his case-handling ideas, meticulous thinking, and love for work are worth learning forever." ”
In 2019, Liao Zhizhi's son Liao Junbo was admitted to the Chinese Police University and became a reserve police officer. "Like my father, I will fight for the cause of public security all my life." Liao Junbo said firmly.
