He was arguably the biggest traitor to the People's Liberation Army, with his hands stained with the blood of his former comrades-in-arms.
In order to arrest this traitor, our party produced an underground party member. The traitor was cunning, and in order to be able to get close to and arrest him, the underground party member spent a lot of effort, not only pretending to be addicted to gambling, but also "losing" all the family property in order to be more realistic.

After some efforts, he finally lived up to his mission and successfully arrested the traitors. So, who is this great traitor? And who is the one who "lost" all the family property and only wanted to catch the traitor?
After the end of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Yan Shubing, an underground party member, suddenly received a telegram from the Party Central Committee. Yan Shubing looked at the telegram, and a dignified expression gradually appeared on his face. On the telegram was instructions from the Central Committee, asking Yan Shubing to arrest a traitor of our party, Xing Renfu.
Xing Renfu was originally the young master of the landlord's family, and because he was dissatisfied with his family, he was determined to go out of his own way since childhood. So after graduating from middle school, Xing Renfu went to the Beiping Kuomintang Recruitment Office to register and became a soldier, during which he learned a lot of military knowledge, and also served as a staff officer, adjutant and other positions.

However, after a long time, Xing Renfu was deeply aware of the darkness of the warlord, and he had no ability to play, so he abandoned the army and returned to his hometown. During these days in his hometown, he learned about the Communist Party, and then he joined our party, thinking that he wanted to do something big.
Our party has always been fair and just, without the darkness of warlords, only the ability to employ people, so Xing Renfu, who has a lot of skills, was soon promoted. After the outbreak of the All-out War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Xing Renfu traveled from place to place and made no small contribution to resisting Japan and saving the country and developing his armaments.
In addition, Xing Renfu also led thirty-one detachments to negotiate with various forces such as the Japanese puppet army and bandit armed forces. In 1938, Xing Renfu commanded 31 detachments and launched a siege of Yanshan City. The enemy army in Yanshan City totaled more than 600 people, well-armed, but in the end they were defeated by our hands and hundreds of people were annihilated.
Then, the 31 detachments launched attacks on the Japanese puppet army in other counties, and each time it ended in the victory of our army. In a short period of time, 31 detachments conquered the west and recaptured a large area of land from the Japanese puppet army, and since then, Xing Renfu and 31 detachments have become famous.
Many aspiring young people signed up to join the 31 detachment, so the 31 detachment quickly developed and grew. In March 1941, the Jilu Border Military Region was established, and due to Xing Renfu's previous brilliant achievements, he was organizationally made the commander of the Jilu Border Military Region.
However, no one expected that Xing Renfu did not go down a bright road, but walked step by step into the abyss.
With the improvement of his status and prestige, Xing Renfu gradually forgot his original intention of joining the Communist Party of China, and he began to slowly give up his high standards and strict requirements for himself, and became lazy. Not only that, Xing Renfu was not willing to live a hard life anymore, eating meat at meals, and every time he fought, he no longer personally went to the front line and hid in the command room.

Xing Renfu held power in his hands, went his own way in the army, was lawless, and directly violated military discipline; in the case of having a wife and a daughter, he openly included Song Kuiling of the army's propaganda team in the account and became his little wife. In 1942, the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in the Border Regions entered the most arduous stage, and the Japanese puppet army organized a large-scale "sweep" in order to retaliate against our army.
In addition to sweeping up, the enemy also carried out a tight blockade of our army, and under such circumstances, the central authorities put forward the call to "grit our teeth and tide over the difficulties" to encourage everyone to be self-sufficient. However, Xing Renfu ignored the harsh environment at that time and asked the soldiers of the army to build a "rear base" for him.
In the construction of this so-called "rear base", the soldiers spent a winter and spring time, and also used up a lot of valuable funds and materials, resulting in the life of the military and civilians in the border area becoming more and more difficult. The culprit, Xing Renfu, not only did not have the slightest reflection, but also ate and drank heavily and squandered public funds.

Xing Renfu's behavior has had a very bad impact on the reputation of our party. However, considering that Xing Renfu had also made many contributions to the organization in the past, the Central Committee, after learning about the situation, did not immediately set out, but first conducted oral education and sent an old revolutionary comrade, Huang Hua, to work for him and help him reform himself.
Comrade Huang Hua, who participated in the Long March, has the ability to work, has a hard work style, and has a strong party spirit, and the central authorities believe that with Huang Hua's help, Xing Renfu can make changes, and at the same time, the situation in the border areas can also be improved. After Huang Hua came to the Jilu Border Region, because of his ability, he quickly established a high prestige among the masses and troops. From this point of view, Huang Hua had already completed half of the task entrusted to him by the central authorities.
The other half, on the other hand, helped Xing Renfu change, but there has been no improvement, because at this time Xing Renfu has long forgotten his revolutionary ideals, and he is full of only egoism. Therefore, when Xing Renfu saw Huang Hua's prestige in the Jilu Border Region, his heart was full of jealousy and dissatisfaction.
To this end, Xing Renfu often scolded Huang Hua, and constantly spread rumors about Huang Hua in the army, saying that Huang Hua had "come to grab territory" and provoked relations between cadres and Huang Hua. In this regard, Huang Hua did not argue much. In the spring of 1943, his superiors decided to transfer him to the Yan'an Party School to study, and the commander's work was temporarily replaced by Huang Hua.
After Xing Renfu received the notice, he was immediately furious, not only did he not think that this was an opportunity to receive education, but he thought that Huang Hua was playing a ghost behind his back, just to empty himself. Therefore, Xing Renfu hated Huang Hua even more in his heart and was determined to get rid of Huang Hua.
After having this idea, Xing Renfu delayed the time to go to Yan'an on the grounds that there was no cover and no safety. Subsequently, Xing Renfu found his own cronies and instigated them to assassinate Huang Hua with him. As a result, an assassination attempt to assassinate Huang Hua quietly grew in the darkness.

Soon after, a reconnaissance meeting in the Jilu Border Region was held. It was at this meeting that Xing Renfu began his own assassination plan. The unsuspecting Huang Hua died under the gun of Xing Renfu's minions, along with Lu Chengdao and 7 other comrades.
After the conspiracy succeeded, Xing Renfu was ecstatic, but his plan, which he thought was seamless, was finally discovered by our party. Xing Renfu knew that our party would not spare him easily, so after receiving the wind, he immediately fled from the Jilu Border Region and came to Tianjin.
In order to be able to have food to eat, Xing Renfu unexpectedly turned to the Japanese Kou without shame; what is even more excessive, in order to win the happiness of the devils, he also wrote "Plan for Suppressing the Communists and Destroying Bandits" and other materials for defecting and surrendering, providing all the information about the Eighth Route Army, and bringing serious losses to the revolutionary cause of our party.
However, in the end, "evil does not suppress righteousness", rikou was driven back to their old nest by the Chinese, while Xing Renfu changed his life, and under the pseudonym Luo Zhen defected to the Kuomintang and became the leader of the first-class major group of the Tianjin Military Unification Station.
At this time, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression had ended, and the Kuomintang had not yet provoked a civil war, so our Party could finally free up its hands and arrest Xing Renfu. Since Xing Renfu was formerly the commander of the border area and was familiar with many people in our party, it was necessary to find a comrade he did not know and who was brave and resourceful to carry out this task, so he selected Yan Shubing, an underground party member.
This was the reason why Yan Shubing received a telegram from the central government, and after he learned about the situation, he immediately began to make a plan to arrest Xing Renfu. To catch Xing Renfu, you must first approach him. After some investigation, Yan Shubing found that Xing Renfu liked to play cards very much, and he was still the kind of person who won and could not afford to lose.
So Yan Shubing decided to start from this and approach Xing Renfu as a card friend. Yan Shubing's public identity is a dentist, skilled in medicine, so he has a certain position in Tianjin, knows a lot of high-level Kuomintang figures, he used his identity, deliberately to these high-level Kuomintang figures, revealed the information of his bad card skills, and said that he heard that Xing Renfu's card skills are good, hoping that he can bring himself.
These high-ranking kuomintang officials understood the meaning of Yan Shubing's words, and it was not long before Yan Shubing met Xing Renfu through those people. As soon as Yan Shubing saw Xing Renfu, he gave a compliment. Later, in order to make Xing Renfu completely wary and lead him to the bait, Yan Shubing estimated that he would lose money to him.
Later, every time the two played cards, Yan Shubing would deliberately lose money to Xing Renfu, and Xing Renfu was naturally satisfied. At that time, the organization's funds for Yan Shubing were limited, so he paid a lot of money himself, and when the money was not enough, he did not ask the organization to take it, but sold his own family property.
It can be said that in order to arrest Xing Renfu, Yan Shubing almost "lost" all his property. And Yan Shubing's image of "addicted to gambling" and "rich and powerful" was also deeply engraved in Xing Renfu's heart. Soon Xing Renfu regarded Yan Shubing as his confidant and friend.
At the same time, in order to better carry out his work, Yan Shubing introduced his younger brother Yan Yi to Xing Renfu, so that Xing Renfu's every move was exposed under the eyes of our party. In 1949, when Tianjin was liberated, Xing Renfu was like a bird of fright, preparing to flee, and Yan Shubing realized that once Xing Renfu escaped this time, it would be difficult to arrest him in the future. Therefore, Yan Shubing, on the pretext of finding a pass and preparing money, delayed Xing Renfu at home while hurriedly reporting the news to his superiors.
