Yang Jingyu, formerly known as Ma Shangde, was a native of Liwan Village, Qishan County, Henan Province, one of the founders of the Eyu-Anhui Su District and its Red Army, and one of the main founders and leaders of the Northeast Anti-Japanese League. In February 1940, due to the betrayal of traitors, General Yang Jingyu bravely rebelled, and the brutal Japanese Kou dissected the body of General Yang Jingyu and found that there was only dry grass, bark and cotton wool in the stomach, and there was not a single grain. The enemy cut off his head and put it in a potion to preserve it. After liberation, the remains of General Yang Jingyu were designed by the underground party comrades to be recovered and stored in the Northeast Martyrs Memorial Hall. On September 25, 1957, after the remains and bones of the martyr Yang Jingyu were spliced together, they were buried in the Jingyu Cemetery in Tonghua City.
