If you've been here, I don't know if you've noticed an old man who was small, with white sideburns, and who walked and looked at the exhibits on the wall. Especially when she approached the door of the torture chamber, her eyes shone with a strange light, and her hand on crutches could not help but tremble...
The reason why the old man is like this is that she is not a tourist, but a staff member of the memorial hall, or more precisely, she is a female fighter, a revolutionary, she is like Zhao Yiman, decades ago, they were tortured by the enemy here (the memorial was formerly the pseudo-Harbin Police Department), fortunately, she was rescued three times in prison three times, and also designed to get rid of her treasonous husband.
Her name is Tian Zhongqiao, born in 1907 in Muling County, Heilongjiang, unlike others, the Tian family is quite rich in the local area, father Tian Xiushan, mother Xiu Yulin are all people with heads and faces in the county, not only that, the couple has a patriotic heart: Before the Korean hero Ahn Jung-geun assassinated former Japanese Prime Minister Ito Hirobumi, Tian Xiushan cooked wine for him; when the underground party wanted to assemble for a meeting, the couple either stood guard or acted as liaison officers; in order to facilitate the contact between the members, Tian Xiushan put his own "Tian family bathhouse" Set up as a secret traffic station...
Tian Xiushan and his wife have two children, the eldest daughter Tian Zhongqiao, the younger daughter Tian Mengjun, long-term ear and eye, so that both children naturally joined the revolutionary ranks, after the "918" incident in 1931, Tian Zhongqiao applied to join the Anti-Japanese Salvation Congress, and since then became an underground traffic officer.
The three words "traffic officer" sound very simple, but whether his intelligence can be conveyed in time is likely to be related to the victory of a battle, in this battlefield without smoke, the wisdom and psychological quality of traffic officers are tested all the time. After several years of tempering, Tian Zhongqiao has become an excellent traffic officer, introduced by Li Fanwu in 1932, Tian Zhongqiao finally joined the party with honor and had his own faith.
In the more than ten years of underground work, Tian Zhongqiao has pretended to be a beggar, a businesswoman, and a peasant woman; she has used her superb camouflage skills to active in Mudanjiang and Harbin for many years, making great contributions to the smooth transmission of our army's intelligence.
In this way, Tian Zhongqiao, because of his outstanding performance, went from being an initial traffic officer to the secretary of the county party committee to a member and inspector of the Central Military Commission, and Tian Zhongqiao gradually rose to become the highest-ranking female leader of our party in the northeast region. Don't look at her petite size, actual combat experience is quite rich, in addition to many times to help the anti-coalition forces to eliminate the Japanese puppet army, although she was imprisoned 3 times, she has never betrayed anyone. In 1938, the Japanese army continued to increase its troops to the northeast, resulting in the anti-Japanese activities of the Northeast Anti-Japanese League extremely difficult, and often at this time, it is more able to test a person's faith firmness, the then secretary of the Jidong Provincial Party Committee Song Yifu, because he could not stand this difficult struggle environment, actually absconded with money, and finally defected to the Japanese, becoming a notorious traitor. Because of Song Yifu's high status and a lot of intelligence, many revolutionary comrades were persecuted, and Tian Zhongqiao was unfortunately arrested, but because Tian Zhongqiao refused to confess and the party organization struggled to rescue him, this time Tian Zhongqiao was quickly released from prison.
However, in early 1939, Tian Zhongqiao was once again arrested and imprisoned, and she would never have dreamed that it was her husband Xun Yukun who betrayed her.
At that time, Tian Zhongqiao went to the town of Diao Ling in Linkou County to carry out a mission, but was arrested by the enemy who had already ambushed him. After being imprisoned, the enemy began to lure him in, but Tian Zhongqiao refused to cooperate. Embarrassed, the Japanese began to torture confessions: rolling nail buckets, pepper water, and soldering iron burns everywhere on her body. The torture of the Japanese army made Tian Zhongqiao pass out several times, she wanted to commit suicide several times, but think about the responsibility she shoulders, once she dies, the communication line between the northeast and the Soviet Union will be interrupted, which will bring huge losses to the organization, so she cannot die, she must get out alive.
Since then, the enemy has used torture many times, but Tian Zhongqiao has always claimed to be a "hanako", does not know what the secretary of the county party committee, the Japanese army can not ask questions, and gradually relaxed their vigilance. However, in the cell at that time, the arrested people needed to do things, and Tian Zhongqiao was assigned the task of washing clothes for the Japanese army, and Tian Zhongqiao just took advantage of this opportunity to observe the surrounding situation in the courtyard and find an opportunity to escape.
On this day, Tian Zhongqiao had just come out of the cell and bumped into her husband Xun Yukun, and Tian Zhongqiao suddenly realized that it was his husband who had betrayed him. Thinking of this, she was furious, but it was not good, Tian Zhongqiao knew that although her husband was not a high-ranking official, he also knew a lot of secrets, and if he kept him all the time, it would definitely pose a great threat to my underground organization, and this person must be eliminated! But I'm already in a cell, so how do I do it?
After thinking about it, Tian Zhongqiao finally had a way, Tian Zhongqiao found that there was still her husband's clothes inside when washing the clothes of the Japanese army, she knew that every time she washed the clothes, the Japanese army would take it and search, so she wrote a small note and stuffed it into the pocket of her husband's clothes, which read:
"Pretend to surrender to gain the trust of the Japanese, go to the third stone crack of the stone stone next to the crooked neck pine tree behind the mountain in Diao Ling Town, get the next task, undercover mission be careful!"
On this note, Tian Zhongqiao deliberately wrote the address in great detail, and it is also a real contact point, why did Tian Zhongqiao do this, he is not afraid of exposure? It turned out that at that time, the superior and subordinate contacts, there was a rule, only the contact point was not used again for more than a month, it was automatically abandoned, and Tian Zhongqiao had been imprisoned for more than a month, she was very sure that the contact point had been abandoned, and the husband of the defection did not know this rule, the Japanese did not believe xun Yukun, and now found a note, so the Japanese army immediately sent troops to check, and sure enough, there were traces of underground party contact there, and the angry And corrupt Japanese immediately shot Xun Yukun, and Tian Zhongqiao saw that the traitor had been removed. Suddenly, I was relieved.
After the murder of Xun Yukun, the Japanese army paid even less attention to Tian Zhongqiao, and with the rescue of the organization, Tian Zhongqiao once again escaped.
Tian Zhongqiao, who was released from prison, was already scarred at this time, but she did not regret it, and after her body recovered, she continued her work.
In the second half of 1941, Tian Zhongqiao rushed to Mudanjiang to prepare to contact the commissioner Ni Jingyang sent by Yan'an, and then the traitor Song Yifu also learned of the news, so Tian Zhongqiao was arrested again.
This time, the Japanese army was even more tormented by her, because she had been arrested three times in a row, the "suspicion" was too big, Tian Zhongqiao, who was tortured by the Japanese army, who was tortured to death, jumped off the building to escape, but fell into a broken bone, and the mad Japanese escorted her from Mudanjiang back to the Harbin Police Department, on the way back, the Japanese army also put on a kimono for her with ulterior motives, and some people who did not know the truth thought that she had defected.
However, from her arrest until the unconditional surrender of the Japanese army in 1945, Tian Zhongqiao never said anything about betraying her compatriots, and when other comrades went to the prison to rescue her, they found that she was in a trance and could not walk. Later, after long-term treatment in the hospital, Tian Zhongqiao finally recovered his sanity and his health improved a lot.
Due to too many injuries on his body, Tian Zhongqiao was often tormented by illness. To this end, the organization arranged for him to work at the Northeast Martyrs' Memorial Hall. On March 15, 2005, tian Zhongqiao, 98, died of illness, ending his legendary life.

Tian Zhongqiao's life, childless and childless, after the victory of the War of Resistance, she adopted more than a dozen martyrs orphans, she did her best to make these orphans feel the joy of childhood, but also to comfort those comrades who died on the battlefield. This heroic old man dedicated his life to the revolutionary cause, which is worth learning from our descendants!
