It's just that it's always quiet, because everyone who comes here knows what it represents, so everyone who arrives here can't help but slow down and lighten their steps, even speak softly.
And if you've ever been here, you've probably met a grandmother with thinning hair and so thin that she seems to be able to fall down as soon as the wind blows. She staggered, on crutches, slowly walking through each exhibition area. When those rusty guns, the torn military uniforms with blood marks, the black and white photos... When it all entered her gaze, her expression stiffened, and the muscles on her face trembled involuntarily.
Especially when she walked to the interrogation room where Zhao Yiman was once held and looked at the torture devices, her hand holding the crutch also began to shake, and tears fell on her face... It's hard not to associate her with these anti-war stories.
Her name is Tian Zhongqiao, born in 1907, she was once the librarian of this memorial, and once she had the same experience as the martyr Zhao Yiman, who was severely tortured and tortured by the enemy. It's just that she is different from Zhao Yiman, she was arrested and imprisoned 3 times to escape, and finally had the luck to survive.
Therefore, she is a great revolutionary, but also a witness to history.

On September 18, 1931, Japan, which had been coveting China for a long time, finally showed its true face, and opened the prelude to the war of aggression against China with the surprise attack of Shenyang by the Kwantung Army.
During the fourteen years of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the people of the Northeast did their best to protect their homeland, women and children were soldiers, not afraid of sacrifice, and wrote one after another legends of heroic resistance that could be sung and wept, and Tian Zhongqiao was one of them.
Tian Zhongqiao's family lived in a village called Goryeo Yingzi in Mudanjiang City, and his father, Tian Xiushan, was a local gentleman with a head and a face, and was an enlightened gentleman with a country in his heart and a sense of righteousness for his family. Her mother, Xiu Yulin, also understands great righteousness, loves the country and the family.
The couple had joined the Grand Anti-Imperialist League together and had been helping the underground party.
Party members meet, they stand guard; party members need to deliver letters, they are the liaisons; party members need to move, they are responsible for cover.
When Yang Song, once the main leader of the Cpc Jidong Special Committee, was almost caught by the enemy during a mission, it was Tian Zhongqiao's parents who covered his safe departure. And the Tianjia family has a great cause, and many industries have served as a liaison station for the underground party.
Therefore, all of this affected Tian Zhongqiao, and after the "September 18" incident, she took her sister Tian Mengjun to join the Anti-Japanese Salvation Congress in her hometown and started a revolutionary career as a traffic officer.
"Intelligence" is a simple two words, but effective intelligence can play an important role in the war of resistance against japan. Therefore, the importance of traffic officers and intelligence officers is self-evident. But at the same time, they also face endless dangers. Since Tian Zhongqiao chose revolution, she never thought of retreating, and she has been desperately taking risks on the invisible battlefield.
In 1932, after Li Fanwu's introduction to the party, he was widely active in Mudanjiang and Harbin. She was very good at "disguise", playing businesswomen, teachers, peasant women, beggars, etc., and successfully deceived the enemy to get effective information every time.
She also pretended to be a female worker, applied for a job in a quilt factory opened by the Japanese army, quietly propagated communist ideology and revolutionary policy, and developed many workers into communists. In the end, in order to leave smoothly, the party members together designed and burned the warehouse of the Japanese army. Food, uniforms, and military supplies were all burned clean.
In this way, Tian Zhongqiao went from being an ordinary traffic officer at the beginning to serving as a county party secretary, a member of the Preparatory Committee, and a member of the Central Military Commission, and finally became the highest-ranking female leader in the northeast region. Don't look at her if she doesn't look like the wind, but in fact, she is very prestigious in the Northeast Anti-Japanese League team, has courage and strategy, and does things with vigor and vigor, which is admirable.
Although Tian Zhongqiao was not tall and thin, she had a strong will like steel, and she had been arrested and imprisoned three times, and was tortured and tortured by the enemy every time, she still insisted on her original intention, never revealed any secrets of the party, and never betrayed any underground party member.
By the time of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in 1938, the Northeast had fallen for 7 years, and as Japan poured more and more troops into China, the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Forces also faced more difficulties. The difficult war of resistance made some people lose their original intentions, and even lost the bloodiness of Chinese. Song Yifu, then secretary of the Jidong Provincial CPC Committee, threw himself at the enemy after the sugar-coated shells thrown by the enemy, or defected to the enemy with money.
His rebellion was undoubtedly a heavy blow to the Anti-Japanese League, and Tian Zhongqiao was first arrested and imprisoned by Song Yifu. Fortunately, after the full rescue of the party organization, she was soon restored to freedom. But the invisible battlefield was still full of crises, and in 1939, tian Zhongqiao's whereabouts were once again known to the enemy and he was arrested and imprisoned again.
And this was what made her hate and puzzle the most, because the person who exposed the news that she went to Diao Ling Town in Linkou County to carry out the mission was her husband Xun Yukun.
In order to get information from Tian Zhongqiao's mouth, the enemy used both soft and hard, first all kinds of sugar-coated shells to lure her to surrender, and then threatened her family. After seeing that Tian Zhongqiao remained unmoved, the enemy began to torture her. Tiger stools, roller stud tubes, chilli water, red-hot soldering irons... In short, almost everything the enemy can think of is used.
Under the torture, Tian Zhongqiao also thought of death, but she thought that as a traffic officer, she was the security line between the northeast and the Soviet Union, so she could not die, she must insist on living.
So she kept saying that she was just an ordinary person, and she had never heard of any county party secretary, and it was the Japanese army that made a mistake. After a long time, the enemy still refused to open her mouth when he saw her, and he probably guessed that maybe he really caught the wrong person this time, so he slowly relaxed his vigilance. As her wounds healed, the Japanese army allowed her to go out of her cell to the courtyard and help with some laundry and sweeping chores on weekdays.
It seems that she is very obedient every day, doing the work ordered by the Japanese army one by one, but in fact, she wants to see more about the structure of the courtyard and look for opportunities to escape. But who knew that as soon as she walked out of the cell on this day, she saw her husband in the courtyard, and she immediately realized that all this was a ghost made by Xun Yukun.
When the incident happened suddenly, Tian Zhongqiao was very uncomfortable, after all, it was the person who had always shared her happiness and suffering, and was the closest person in her life. But for the sake of righteousness, she decided that she must severely punish the traitors! But what to do? Just when she didn't know how to be good, she thought of a plan while washing clothes one day.
Every time she washed her clothes, whether she came in or out, she had to be examined, so when she found that her traitorous husband's clothes were also inside, she stuffed a note in the mezzanine of his clothes that read:

After the Japanese army found the note, it really went to the contact point to search, and sure enough, it found signs of contact, so the Japanese army asked for Xun Yukun's life with a gun. After the whistleblower Xun Yukun was "convicted" by the Japanese, Tian Zhongqiao's suspicions were even smaller, and it was much easier to rescue. Later, with the help of everyone, he successfully escaped from the enemy's cage.
But the road to revolution is full of variables, and Tian Zhongqiao, who had just been released from prison in 1941, was originally preparing to meet with the commissioner sent from Yan'an according to the organizational plan, but was informed by the defective Song Yifu, resulting in her being arrested again.

This time, she suffered more until Japan surrendered unconditionally, and the organizational talent found her. At that time, she had been tortured to some "madness", and she was still in a semi-crazy state for the rest of her life.
Because at the time of her third arrest, the enemy had already identified her as an underground party, so she was tortured in a different way for more than 4 years. Tian Zhongqiao had thought about death countless times, and had also jumped from the second floor when the ghosts were not paying attention. However, I don't know if this is lucky or unfortunate, she did not fall to her death but only suffered multiple fractures all over her body.
Rikou then escorted her from Mudanjiang to the Harbin Police Department, where he made a special show of it and forcibly changed her into a Japanese kimono. Therefore, some people believe that Tian Zhongqiao has defected.
However, after time has proved, during Tian Zhongqiao's three arrests and escapes, there has never been a situation in which the underground organization was destroyed, or the underground party members were betrayed, and even the upper and lower lines with whom she was most closely linked were not implicated. Therefore, Tian Zhongqiao always adhered to his original intention and struggled for the revolutionary cause. The scars and pain left on her body are not only evidence of Riko's evil deeds, but also a testimony of her loyalty!
Later, for the sake of her body, the organization specially asked the doctor to take care of her closely. After a long period of conditioning, both the physical and mental state has improved. After she could walk normally, she was arranged to work at the Northeast Martyrs' Memorial Hall. The museum is full of people every day, and many people have learned the stories of the heroes of the Northeast War of Resistance from her narration, but few people know that she is also a great hero of the War of Resistance.
On March 15, 2005, Tian Zhongqiao completed a life full of thrills, vicissitudes and troubles, at the age of 98. Although Tian Zhongqiao did not start a family for the rest of her life due to injury, she was always alone, but the rest of her life was not alone, and it was equally great.
Because she adopted more than ten martyrs' orphans in her days as a librarian, she tried to give more warmth to the descendants of those heroic martyrs as much as possible, and to comfort the comrades who died.
Tian Zhongqiao has lived too hard in this life, so if there is really an afterlife, I hope that there will be more beautiful things to accompany her and make up for the pain of this life.
