On the evening of February 10th, the "Years and Years of Treasures - Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of The Famous Shanghai Opera Artist Mr. Gu Yuezhen" will be broadcast live on the Oriental Grand Theatre, CCTV, Today's Headlines, Watermelon Video, B Station, Yi Live, Changning Cultural Cloud and other platforms. As an important part of the 2022 "Le Hi Shanghai New Year" Intangible Cultural Heritage New Experience Activity in Changning District and the "Art Enjoyment Shencheng" series of activities to benefit the people at the Shanghai International Arts Festival Center, the whole performance is divided into three chapters: "Classic Forever Passed on", "Walking with the Times" and "Rooted in the People", and the old, middle-aged and young actors of the Changning Shanghai Opera Troupe will show Gu Yuezhen's classic works "Zhao Yiman", "Eight Years of Chaos", "Yang Naiwu and The Little Cabbage" in the form of a symphonic concert. The newly created plays of Changning Shanghai Opera Troupe in recent years, such as the excellent works of realistic themes "Teacher Wenhong", "Alley Premier", "Famous Trilogy", "Under the Eaves of Shanghai", "Wilderness" and so on, will also be fully displayed.
Gu Yuezhen was born in 1921, and 2021 coincides with her centennial birthday. Founded by Gu Yuezhen, the Effort Shanghai Opera Troupe (the predecessor of the Shanghai Changning Shanghai Opera Troupe) was founded in 1949. Rehearsing modern dramas and singing praises to revolutionary heroes and models of the times in Shanghainese rural tones has always been the characteristic of the troupe. The Shanghai opera "Zhao Yiman" is one of the most classic stage images created by Gu Yuezhen before her death. In September 1954, "Zhao Yiman" starring Gu Yuezhen participated in the opera observation performance in East China and won the first prize for actor. A series of good plays such as "Good Daughter-in-Law", "Mother and Son", "Cuigang Red Flag", "Fiancée of the Volunteer Army" and so on have also become the representative plays of the Shanghai Opera Troupe.
In 1979, after the resumption of the establishment of the Changning Shanghai Opera Troupe, according to the excellent deeds of the characters around it, it has rehearsed many original works such as "Wen Hong Teacher" and "Alley Premier", as well as many original works such as "Grievance Trilogy", "Red Trilogy", "Famous Trilogy", "Legendary Trilogy" and so on. "Teacher Wenhong" is based on the deeds of Teacher Cha Wenhong's poverty alleviation and teaching support, and is filmed by CCTV and broadcast as a 6-episode opera series. The "Alley Premier" trilogy is based on zhu Guoping, the "Alley Premier", and in July 2019, "Alley Premier" was unveiled at the Mei Lanfang Grand Theater in Beijing, and the audience responded enthusiastically.

Shanghai opera performance artists Han Yumin and Gu Yuezhen will personally visit the scene to recall Gu Yuezhen's deeds. Li Enlai, a national first-class actor and descendant of the Changning Shanghai Opera Troupe, as well as burlesque performance artist Qian Cheng, Yue opera performance artist Zhao Zhigang, and Pingtan performance artist Gao Bowen will express their tribute to their predecessors with Shanghai opera singing.
Chen Suping, head of the Changning Shanghai Opera Troupe and inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage, said that the "anti-yin and yang" created by Gu Yuezhen is one of the main tunes of Shanghai opera. But because she died early, many Shanghai opera lovers did not know enough about her. The holding of the "Years and Years" concert is not only to introduce Gu Yuezhen's artistic achievements to the audience, but also to advocate her "hard work" spirit, "from Teacher Gu's version of "Zhao Yiman" to the new version of "Zhao Yiman", this road is the continuation of the stage creation spirit, is the Shanghai opera people's seventy years of initial heart, with the stage dream as a horse, not to live up to youth and Shaohua. ”
