Recently, Hyundai announced that it will launch the 2022 IONIQ 5 and released the price of the new car. The new car will be available in standard, long-range and limited edition models, and the power and endurance have been improved compared with the current model. It is reported that the new car starts at $40,925 (about 260,600 yuan) and is expected to be listed in the first quarter of 2022.
In terms of power, the standard version of the new car will be equipped with a battery pack of 58kW·h, with a maximum power of 125kW and a cruising range of 354 kilometers. The long-endurance version will be available in single-motor and dual-motor versions, with a maximum power of 168kW and 239kW, a peak torque of 350N·m and 605N·m, respectively, and both new models are equipped with a 77.4kW·h battery pack with a cruising range of 488 km and 412 km respectively.
In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with 800V fast charging as standard, equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument and a 12.3-inch central control screen, two screens using dual screen design, and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while the new car also upgraded the driver assistance system, the long-endurance version of the model added lane positioning system and automatic lane change system. The limited edition model wheels have been upgraded to 20 inches and feature a large panoramic sunroof, a heads-up display with augmented reality, a Bose high-end sound system, a blind spot detection system, and a remote smart parking system.
