IT House December 13 news, according to Windows Latest reported that Windows has always been a customizable operating system, Microsoft now plans to update personalization in Windows 11, support new features, including Windows Spotlight Spotlight focus for the desktop and a shiny new theme for the Windows Clipboard + Emoji menu.

Spotlight Spotlight has been part of Windows since 2015, and it currently makes your lock screen or login screen more visual by displaying high-resolution images, similar to the daily wallpapers that appear on the Bing search engine. Spotlight is integrated into the operating system, and it also displays ads in suggestions.
Spotlight is provided by Bing, and the quality of these pictures is very good, and they can also be used on the desktop. Thankfully, Microsoft has heard feedback that starting with Windows 11 22H2, you'll be able to use a lock screen or Spotlight image as a desktop background.
In Windows 11 Build 22518, Microsoft is testing a new personalization, Spotlight Collection. When enabled, Microsoft will update the desktop background with new images from the Spotlight collection. The same Spotlight collection also provides support for the lock screen and Bing, but it has been updated with better support for the desktop.
In addition to the new pictures, Microsoft plans to provide interesting stories about each picture directly on the desktop.
To enable Spotlight collections for desktops, follow these steps:
Update to Dev Channel (Build 22518+).
Right-click on your desktop and select Personalize. Or, open the Windows Settings > Personalization.
Select Background.
Click on the "Personalize your background" drop-down menu.
Select Spotlight Collection.
As soon as you select the Spotlight collection, you'll immediately see an inspiring image as your desktop background. You'll also notice the new Spotlight icon, which will be pinned to the top right of the screen. You can click on the Spotlight icon to learn more about the background.
A Spotlight collection can include up to five background images, and the desktop rotates through them.
IT House has learned that Microsoft is currently testing the new settings for Windows 11 Build 22518 in the Dev channel of the Insider program. For users outside of the Insider program, Microsoft is planning to roll out updated personalization in the second half of 2022.
Windows Clipboard New Theme + Emoji Panel
In addition, Microsoft is making new personalizations for your text input, such as the Windows Clipboard and Emoji Panel.
As you can see in the screenshot, you'll be able to use the existing 13 keyboard themes for the emoji panel and voice input. You can find the new theme options in the new Text Input section under Settings > Personalization.
