But recently, Microsoft designer Nando Costa said on Twitter that it is developing 3D emoticons for Windows 11 and posting more character emoticons.
IT Home learned that users can use the "Win + Period" shortcut key in Windows 11 to open the emoji panel, and the current emoji is 2D version.
Microsoft had previously been promoting Windows 11's 3D emoji, and as a result, Brandon LeBlanc's denial triggered a backlash from users, officially calling it a "marketing failure."
However, Nando Costa's answer is confusing, and whether 3D emojis will actually go online is still an unknown.
