At present, the installation rate of Windows 10 is significantly ahead of other versions, accounting for 80.34% of the market, probably because the system is easier to upgrade when it is launched, so that many old system users can also use it.

In the installation of the official version of Windows 11 devices, Xiao Lei expects that most of them are pre-installed on new computers, such as the recently released two-in-one, notebook and other PC products, which are basically installed in the official version of Win11, and may only account for a small part of the software upgrade.
Xiao Lei has a great interest in the new system, as long as there is a new version push, it will be upgraded at the first time. But Windows 11 is different, the new system requires the user's computer must have a 64-bit CPU, 4GB and above storage, 64GB and above storage space, the computer must support UEFI secure boot, TPM2.0 module, WDDM 2.0 drivers, etc. That is to say, computers in recent years are eligible to upgrade Win11.
According to Lansweeper's report, more than half of the PCs can't be upgraded to Windows 11, and Xiaolei's computers can still be used smoothly, but the configuration is relatively outdated, and it also can't receive pushes from the new system.
On the other hand, the system experience of Windows 11 is not as good as Windows 10, some users who are using Win11 said that the new system not only castrates a lot of shortcut operations, but also has a lot of bugs, which occasionally affects normal use, which is very disturbing, and many people may fall back to Win10 after using Win11. Recently, Microsoft pushed Windows 11 patches every three to five minutes, and it can be seen that this new system still needs to be polished for a long time.
For some businesses, if the existing software and operating system are performing well, they may think that there is no need to upgrade the new system. In Xiao Lei's impression, many companies' computers still use The Win7 system, for them, the stability of the system is far more important than the beautiful UI. Besides, the upgrade threshold of Win11 is not low, and not all enterprise computers can be updated.
In Xiao Lei's view, if you want to improve the installation rate of Win11, unless you lower the upgrade threshold, you can only rely on new PC devices to promote. In the end, I still hope that Windows 11 can do better so that more people have the motivation to upgrade.
