Microsoft's new emoji system based on smooth design is already in use on Microsoft 365, Windows and other platforms.

Recently, Nando Costa, Microsoft's head of design, confirmed that the company is still working to introduce 3D emojis to Windows 11.

While we still don't know when 3D emojis will appear in Windows 11, Nando Costa emphasizes that Microsoft's design team is constantly working on new ideas. "We plan to continue to create new designs every year based on new Unicode versions, and will also explore investing in our own exclusive concepts," the designer said.
