The court held that Yin X, for the purpose of illegal possession, had repeatedly stolen other people's property by secret means, including entering the house twice, and his behavior had constituted the crime of theft.

At the same time, between 2013 and 2020, Yin Moumou was sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment four times for committing theft, which is a repeat offender and should be given a heavier punishment. The judge said:

Theft generally requires a large amount of money to be convicted, but for multiple thefts, the amount is not required to meet the standard, nor is it premised on the defendant that each theft is complete and constitutes the crime of theft, as long as it meets the requirements of 3 or more thefts within two years, it can be convicted. For burglary, there is no requirement for the amount of the crime, as long as it meets the circumstances of the burglary committed in the home, the crime can be convicted.
