In 1994, Zhang Xueliang's only surviving son returned to China and asked for care on the plane: 64 years old, he could not speak Chinese

On May 9, 1994, it was drizzling in Shenyang, and an express train from Beijing slowly pulled into Shenyang South Railway Station.

The responsible persons of the Liaoning Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and the Taiwan Affairs Office, who had been waiting on the platform for a long time, looked forward to it several times.

Earlier, the SAFEA of the State Council issued a document to the relevant departments in Liaoning Province, asking them to entertain the special guests in accordance with the specifications of general foreign experts. The leaders of Liaoning Province held a special meeting, they could not suppress the excitement in their hearts, or decided to greet them with grand specifications, they rented Lincoln cars, and also arranged for police cars to open the road front and back. After several phone calls to demand, they reluctantly withdrew the police car, but insisted on leaving the big "Lincoln".

Finally, the distinguished passengers arrived, and the people waiting at the station rushed forward.

After the train stopped, the first person out of the car was an old man in his 60s, his face was rosy, his eyebrows and body shape were very familiar. He looked at the old-fashioned building in the style of four Sundays, with mixed feelings, misty eyes, and murmured: "Shenyang, I am finally back." "

He is the only son of Zhang Xueliang and Zhao Yidi, Zhang Lulin, who has not returned for 54 years since he left his hometown at the age of 10. He had even forgotten the local pronunciation and could not communicate with the villagers in Chinese.

Zhang Xueliang is already old, and for various reasons, his plan to return to his homeland has been repeatedly delayed, and finally he has to regret giving up. Zhang Xueliang's 4 sons, only this last one remains, Zhang Xueliang can only give his wish to return to China to his hands...

Zhang Xueliang and Yu Fengzhi were married in 1914 and had three sons and a daughter, the eldest daughter Zhang Luying, the eldest son Zhang Luxun, the second son Zhang Lulu, and the third son Zhang Luqi. The names of the three sons are derived from the Erya Shidi:

"The beauty of the East, there is no medicine without Lu Xun Qi Yan."

I sent my parents' good wishes, but unfortunately none of my three sons died peacefully.

Born in 1917, Zhang Ishun is Zhang Zuolin's favorite grandson. Zhang Zuolin often played with Zhang Luxun, who often ran to his grandfather's house and sometimes begged his grandfather for two big cigarettes to eat.

Zhang Luxun is very smart and the most studious among several children, but some problems have occurred since childhood. He likes to talk to grass and trees, and sometimes he acts differently from ordinary people.

After Zhang Xueliang lost his freedom, the sensitive Zhang Luxun's mental state deteriorated, and he was in London, England, and witnessed the tragic situation of the 1941 London bombing. Yu Fengzhi, who was in the United States, could not take care of his son, and Zhang Luxun completely broke down and was sent to a mental hospital for treatment.

In 1942, with the help of Song Ziwen, Zhang Luxun came to the United States several times and met his mother.

Yu Fengzhi took good care of her, but Zhang Luxun's condition still did not improve. He could not marry, had no children, and in addition to relying on his mother, he missed his father in particular.

Yu Fengzhi thought that if Zhang Luxun saw his father, his condition might improve. With the help of Song Ziwen and Song Meiling, Zhang Luxun came to Taiwan in August 1975 and met Zhang Xueliang.

The elderly Zhang Xueliang often went to the hospital to see his son, accompanied him to see a doctor, physical examination, and also took him to see art exhibitions, tour Taiwan, and select fruits for him... However, Zhang Xueliang's fatherly love still did not stop Zhang Luxun's condition from deteriorating

On September 19, 1981, Zhang Luxun was chatting with someone when he suddenly fainted and fell to the ground, and died of illness on the same day.

Zhang Xueliang personally selected a cemetery for his eldest son and let him rest in Yangming Mountain. He also told the people around him not to tell Yu Fengzhi about this bad news.

Zhang Xueliang and Yu Fengzhi's second son Zhang Luxuan and his brother have completely opposite personalities, he is enthusiastic and lively, likes to ride horses, and is most similar to Zhang Xueliang.

Zhang Luxun is obsessed with academia, and Zhang Luxun lives more freely and knows how to spend money and enjoy it.

After Zhang Xueliang was imprisoned, Yu Fengzhi was anxious to arrange his children and then returned to China to accompany Zhang Xueliang.

Before Yu Fengzhi arrived in China, Zhang Lu's letter was sent to her. Zhang Lu told his mother in the letter that the brothers ate milk and cod liver oil every day and had a good life, hoping that after her mother solved the problem, she could buy him three hundred pounds of cars.

At this moment, her mother's heart was in a mess, her father's future was uncertain, and Zhang Luxuan thought of asking for money to buy a car.

In a letter from Zhao Yidi to Zhang Xueliang, Zhang Luxuan's ignorance was also mentioned.

Zhao Yidi sent tuition fees to the children on a monthly basis, Zhang Lujiu proposed 50 pounds per month, and Zhao Yidi was also helpless. At that time, Yu Fengzhi and Zhang Xueliang were imprisoned in Xikou, which was the difficulty of the family and needed money everywhere. Zhang Lu still lived a luxurious life and owed a huge debt, and later Song Ziwen helped him pay off his debts and subsidized his living expenses.

In 1942, Zhang Lu came to the United States to study, got married and had children. He was addicted to smoking, almost unable to leave his hands, and finally suffered from lung disease and died in 1986.

Among the three children born to Yu Fengzhi, the one who makes parents most worry is the old three Zhang Luqi. The third elder is honest and generous, smart and clever, and very sympathetic to his parents, he is Zhang Xueliang's most beloved son.

Unfortunately, in 1929, Zhang Luqi contracted tuberculosis, and Zhang Xueliang asked all the famous doctors, but he did not cure his younger son's illness.

At that time, it was rumored that the Japanese had created an X-ray chest X-ray machine explosion in retaliation for Zhang Xueliang, resulting in the accidental death of Zhang Luqi, who was being treated. This statement was later rejected by Zhang Xueliang himself.

In the Beiyang Pictorial and Tianjin Ta Kung Pao, which were funded and published by Zhang Xueliang, there are reports of Zhang Luqi's death.

In early July 1929, Zhang Xueliang went to Beiping. This was his first entry after he left customs in 1928, in order to meet Chiang Kai-shek on July 10. Yu Fengzhi was supposed to go with him, but Zhang Luqi was seriously ill at that time and stayed in Shenyang.

Unexpectedly, Zhang Xueliang left only a few days, and Zhang Luqi died of serious illness. After the people around Zhang Xueliang got the news, they did not immediately talk to Zhang Xueliang. It was not until a few days later, when Zhang Xueliang was resting in Beidaihe, that he cautiously talked to Zhang Xueliang.

Zhang Xueliang was devastated, thinking that in the past few days, he had not called Yu Fengzhi to inquire, he was even more anxious, Beidaihe communication was inconvenient, he went through several twists and turns to get through Yu Fengzhi's phone, hoping that Yu Fengzhi could come to Beidaihe and rest and heal together.

On the day Yu Fengzhi came to Beidaihe, the couple let the staff around them avoid it, leaving only a few cronies. They hugged and cried, and they were even more heartbroken to think of Xiao Luqi's former well-behaved and clever.

Zhang Xueliang and Yu Fengzhi are both very long-lived, but they personally sent away their three sons, which is a great mental torture for them.

Zhang Xueliang once said to people:

"My wife (Yu Fengzhi) and I had three sons, all of whom died, all ahead of me. My children didn't have any good light on me, and they didn't have any good light, especially the eldest and second, if it wasn't for me, they probably wouldn't have died so early. "

Zhang Xueliang's only long-lived son is Zhang Lulin, the only beloved son of Miss Zhao Si. But like the three brothers, Zhang Lulin's life was not smooth, and he almost couldn't even recognize Zhang Xueliang and Zhao Yidi.

In the winter of 1929, Zhao Yidi gave birth to a son, Zhang Lulin. After Yu Fengzhi got the news, he took the milk powder and braved the wind and snow to see Zhao Yidi's mother and son.

Yu Fengzhi was distressed by Zhang Lulin, and offered to build a small Western-style building on the east side of the Marshal's Mansion, where Zhao Yidi could live with his children, and Zhao Yidi was very touched in his heart.

In 1940, Zhao Yidi was about to leave Hong Kong for Guizhou.

Zhang Xueliang was placed under house arrest, and Zhao Yidi finally made up his mind to accompany his fallen lover. She was unable to take her young son with her, and after experiencing a painful choice, she entrusted zhang Lulin, the only son of Zhang Xueliang, to her American friends, Iyag and Eina.

In 1946, Zhang Xueliang was secretly escorted to Taiwan and has been imprisoned in Kaohsiung, where he and Zhao Lived in an abandoned fort.

In 1954, Song Meiling sent an enlightenment teacher, Dong Xianguang, from Taipei, saying that he taught Zhang Xueliang English, but actually wanted to understand Zhang Xueliang's ideological changes.

Song Meiling did not expect that after a long period of time together with Zhang Xueliang and Zhao Yidi, Dong Xianguang and his wife had become friends from being wary of each other at the beginning to talking about everything.

In 1955, Dong Xianguang was ordered to leave for the United States. They asked Zhang Xueliang and Zhao Yidi if they had any requirements, and Zhao Yidi wanted to talk several times, and finally made a request to them, hoping that Dong Xianguang and his wife could help her find her 15-year-old son.

Lady Dong was very sympathetic to Zhao Yidi and promised to do her best to help her find Zhang Lulin. However, after such a long time, Zhao Yidi only had the address of the correspondence with the Iyags in 1940, and now that more than a decade has passed, the hope of finding them is very slim.

When Lady Dong left, she promised Zhao Yidi that as long as Zhang Lulin was still alive, no matter which state he lived in now, they would be able to find it.

In May 1956, Zhao finally received a long-awaited letter with a black-and-white photograph. The young man in the photo is dressed in a suit with a bow tie tied under the collar of his shirt.

Although they had not seen each other for 15 years, Zhang Xueliang and Zhao Yidi still recognized Zhang Lulin at a glance.

In the letter, Mrs. Dong wrote about the difficult search for Zhang Lulin, whose house had been destroyed in a fire in 1952, and the family had moved out of San Francisco to settle in Los Angeles.

Mrs. Dong asked many friends in order to find Zhang Lulin, but found nothing. Dong Xianguang had to turn to the U.S. State Department. After the screening and search of the State Council, the whereabouts of Zhang Lulin were finally found.

At that time, Zhao Yidi once said to the Iyag couple that the true identity of Zhang Lulin must not be disclosed to the outside world, so the Iyag couple renamed him Kerr. For his safety, the Iyags never mentioned their biological parents in front of him and gave him a completely Westernized education, so Mrs. Dong could not find his traces by the child's name.

Under the careful cultivation of her adoptive parents, Zhang Lulin has now become a well-known aerospace expert, engaged in aerospace research at an air base in California.

Knowing that his son is now not only safe and healthy, but also has his own career, Zhao Yidi and Zhang Xueliang's hanging hearts for so many years have been put down.

After finding Zhang Lulin, Dong Xianguang lobbied in front of Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Mei-ling, hoping that they would allow Zhang Lulin to return to see her parents. A year later, Ms. Zhang was allowed to return to Taiwan and meet her biological parents, who were still in seclusion.

At this time, Zhang Lulin had been separated from his parents for 25 years, and when he said goodbye, he already had his own child, Zhang Juxin, who was just one year old.

The names of Zhang Juxin and his younger brother Zhang Juyang were taken by Zhang Xueliang himself, and the names of the two younger grandsons combined are "faith".

Zhang Lulin's family lived in Taipei for 1 month, and Zhang Xueliang held his little grandson every day, as if he had forgotten all his troubles.

Since then, Zhang Lulin has taken her wife and children to Taipei every year to visit her parents and often write letters.

In 1990, Zhang Xueliang finally gained relative freedom to leave Taiwan with Zhao Yidi and visit relatives and friends in the United States.

At that time, what Zhang Xueliang wanted to go to most was actually the mainland of the motherland.

However, the Kuomintang authorities firmly opposed his trip to the mainland, and even a trip to Hong Kong to visit relatives and friends had to be blocked by the Kuomintang authorities.

Although Zhang Xueliang could enjoy the joy of Hawaii in the United States in his later years, he has always been worried about his hometown and left great regrets.

At the end of 1993, Zhao Yidi sold their properties in Taipei and discussed with Zhang Xueliang whether zhang Lulin could return to the mainland of the motherland instead of them.

Zhang Lulin received a call from her mother, and he pondered for a moment and agreed.

He was separated from his parents for 15 years, but he was very filial to his parents, and often brought his wife and children from Los Angeles to Hawaii to visit the second elder. Especially on her parents' birthday or Spring Festival, Zhang Lulin will definitely come.

After Zhang Lulin retired from nasa, the number of times she visited her parents increased, Zhang Xueliang liked her young grandson Zhang Juxin, who often played with his grandson, exercised, and left a lot of videos of grandchildren having fun.

Zhang Xueliang also often talks about his hometown with his son, and Zhang Lulin can also understand her parents' regret of being away from home in their later years. After all, the northeast is zhang Xueliang's root, how he hopes to go back to the northeast to see, and then chat with relatives and friends, face to face to talk about hometown dialect, eat a bite of hometown food.

In addition to wanting to personally replace her father to go back to see her hometown, Zhang Lulin also had another reason for returning to China.

Zhang Lulin has lived in Chinese mainland for less than 10 years, and many of his memories have been blurred, and he has even forgotten his native language. He had always felt that the connection between himself and his motherland was only his old parents.

It wasn't until he retired that he accidentally met an expert from a technical delegation of the Chinese Ministry of Space who came to San Francisco from Beijing to visit, and his hometown complex was awakened.

This expert knows Zhang Lulin's special identity, and also knows that he is an authoritative computer expert in the field of US aerospace, and he and Zhang Lulin talk very speculatively, and they hate each other late.

After several conversations, the expert sincerely invited Zhang Lulin to return to the mainland of the motherland to have a look and visit the place where he was born.

Their dialogue was all in English, but it made Zhang Lulin's heart light up, and the voice of "going home" often appeared in his mind.

In 1992, Zhang Lulin had planned to return to the motherland with her wife and children.

But zhang Xueliang was still in Taiwan at the time, heavily monitored by the Kuomintang, and was trying to settle in the United States.

If Zhang Lulin had gone directly to Beijing at that time, it would have affected Zhang Xueliang's plan to leave Taiwan. Zhang Xueliang and Zhao Yidi are old and have spent too much good time in Taiwan, and they can't stand the delay again and again.

Now, Zhang Xueliang and Zhao Yidi have settled in the United States, and Zhao Yidi took the initiative to mention the matter of returning to China with Zhang Lulin, which is also the opportunity that Zhang Lulin has been looking forward to for a long time.

In the spring of 1994, Zhang Lulin received an invitation letter asking him to come to Beijing in May to attend an important conference on space technology.

Zhang Lulin happily called her parents, and Zhang Xueliang and Zhao Yidi were also very excited after hearing the news. They demanded that after Zhang Lulin's activities in Beijing were over, she could replace her parents and go to her hometown in the northeast to have a look and pay homage to her grandfather.

In 1994, Zhang Xueliang's only surviving son returned to China and asked for care on the plane: 64 years old, he could not speak Chinese

The young man left home and returned home, and Zhang Lulin was nervous on the plane back to China. He knew so little about China that he was worried that no one would pick him up after getting off the plane.

He talked with a "China passer" on the plane, hoping to take more care of the couple after getting off the plane.

As soon as he got off the plane, the director of SAFEA was already waiting, and he also deliberately went through the formalities to meet the satellite hall that ordinary people could not enter, and after coming out of the satellite hall, he arranged for them to stay in the four-star friendship hotel, in order to let the couple have a better rest, no activities were arranged that day.

Zhang Lulin and Chen Shuzhen returned to China very low-key and did not want to alarm the media. The relevant central departments respected the ideas of Zhang Lulin and his wife, and all activities were carried out quietly, without public publicity.

What amazed Zhang Lulin the most was seeing the actual objects and models of satellites and rockets launched by China. He is very excited and relieved that China's space industry can reach the level of developed countries in Europe and the United States in just a few decades.

After the event, they toured Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall, and also met Yang Zhengmin, son of Yang Hucheng, Wan Guoquan, son of Wan Fulin, commander of the Northeast Army, and Zhang Zhongkun, son of Zhang Xuesi.

The motherland is doing everything possible to make them feel the warmth of "home".

After coming to the northeast, Zhang Lulin couldn't wait to see the "Grand Marshal's Mansion" near the Great South Gate of Shenyang, which has now been renamed by the government as the "General Zhang Xueliang Memorial Hall".

This building, which has endured more than 60 years of wind and rain, is still very well preserved, and Zhang Lulin and his wife are very surprised.

In front of miss Zhao Si's building, Zhang Lulin seemed particularly emotional, he had seen a lot of videos in the United States, but when he saw this building with his own eyes, he still couldn't help but burst into tears.

Zhang Lulin couldn't help herself, and Mrs. Chen Shuzhen occasionally reminded her husband not to talk much. Obviously, they came to their hometown, but they have always been cautious.

Zhang Lulin also made a special trip to visit the "September 18 Incident" Memorial Tower, the former site of Northeastern University and other historical sites.

66 years ago, Zhang Xueliang personally served as the president of Northeastern University, and for this school, he donated most of Zhang Zuolin's inheritance. In his later years, Zhang Xueliang has always cared about Northeastern University, personally inscribed the name of Northeastern University, supported the resumption of Northeastern University, and served as the honorary president of Northeastern University.

At the entrance of the school, Mr. and Mrs. Zhang Lulin took a picture in front of the school plaque inscribed by Zhang Xueliang and visited the newly built Zhang Xueliang Library. Zhang Lulin listened carefully to the narrator's explanation, looked at Northeastern University in the drizzle, and saw a tragic scene of more than half a century.

Zhang Xueliang's old department, relatives and friends heard that Zhang Xueliang's son had returned, and they came to see him. Liu Mingjiu, Zhang Xueliang's old subordinate and vice chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, gave Zhang Lulin two bottles of good wine from his hometown, hoping that he would bring it to the United States and give his old boss Zhang Xueliang a taste.

According to the instructions of their parents, Zhang Lulin and his wife also went to Marshal Lin (Zhang Zuolin's tomb), they did not bring a video camera, they could only take pictures with the camera they carried, and took several color rolls in a row.

The vice mayor of Shenyang Specially invited distinguished guests to the "Shao Shuai Mansion Restaurant", which was organized by the Memorial Hall of the Former Residence of General Zhang Xueliang, and this time made ten dishes for Zhang Lulin and his wife, all of which were the dishes that Miss Zhao Si and Zhang Xueliang loved to eat in those years.

In the face of the enthusiastic hometown people, Zhang Lulin and his wife put down the caution in their hearts, responded to the greetings of the villagers, and repeatedly promised that they would definitely bring their wish for Zhang Xueliang's return to their hometown to their father.

On May 12, Wan Shaofen, executive deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, invited Zhang Lulin and his wife to a banquet in Beijing, and repeatedly exhorted: If General Zhang Xueliang wants to go home, who he wants to meet, and where he wants to go, the motherland will certainly respect the opinions of his old man, and he can not arrange any activities, or he can send a special plane to pick him up, hoping that Zhang Xueliang can relieve his worries.

This time in the mainland, Zhang Lulin and his wife stayed for a total of 13 days, and they also met the descendants of their aunt and uncle, and they were very happy and happy during this journey. After returning to the United States, Zhang Lulin told his father in detail everything in the northeast, Zhang Xueliang could not calm his mood for a long time, he wrote an inscription "The crane has the dream of returning home, the cloud has no heart", sent from the United States to Shenyang, sent to the old headquarters of the Northeast Army.

A year later, Zhang Lulin and his wife came to the northeast again.

On June 15, 1995, the centenary of the birth of Mr. Yan Baohang, Zhang Xueliang's old subordinate and close friend, Shenyang Held a grand commemorative ceremony.

Yan Baohang was an important leader in the northeast of the Ccp, and after Zhang Xueliang lost his freedom, Yan Baohang ran to the rescue at any cost. Both public and private, Zhang Xueliang attaches great importance to this commemorative activity.

Zhang Xueliang wanted to come to Shenyang in person, but it was still difficult. He wrote inscriptions and prefaces to the "Yan Baohang Photo Collection" and "Yan Baohang Memorial Anthology" in Hawaii, so that his son and daughter-in-law must participate in the commemoration ceremony in his place.

This time, when Zhang Lulin returned, the Nanjing Meiyuan Xincun Memorial Hall and the Chongqing Hongyan Village Memorial Hall both sent representatives to greet her.

The Hongyan Village Memorial Hall in Chongqing gave Zhang Xueliang two dragon and phoenix walking sticks, and Nanjing Meiyuan New Village gave him a box of rain and flower stones, and the box was written with the words "Zhang Xueliang, a hero of the ages", which is Premier Zhou Enlai's evaluation of Zhang Xueliang.

At the beginning of June, Yan Mingguang, a descendant of Yan Baohang, came to the United States to wish Zhang Xueliang a happy birthday and invited Zhang Xueliang home on behalf of millions of villagers in his hometown. However, Zhang Xueliang's health was not good enough to withstand the long journey any longer, and he comforted Yan Mingguang: "There will be a chance, there will be a chance." "

Zhang Xueliang himself knows very well that the "opportunity" may never come again.

In 1996, with the encouragement of Zhang Xueliang, Zhang Lulin's son Zhang Juxin was admitted to Peking University.

In 2000, the Kuomintang stepped down, and Zhao Yidi also died of illness.

Zhang Xueliang's life has come to an end, and within a year, he has experienced such emotional ups and downs.

In the days of Zhao Yidi's death, Zhang Lulin and his wife have always been by her side. Many relatives and friends came to give Zhang Xueliang a hundred birthday, but they did not expect to rejoice and rejoice, and what they saw was life and death.

The only last words Zhao Yidi left to his son were: "Take care of your father." "

In October 2001, Zhang Xueliang passed away peacefully at the age of 101.

Many people asked him about his health, and he always said plainly: "It's just good food and drink." In fact, he has told people more than once that he has "died" as early as 1936. His summary is very desolate and helpless, "nothing has happened" and "two sideburns".

Zhang Xueliang's later years seemed comfortable and stable, but in his heart, his most glorious years were forever stuck in the moment of shouting and desperately fighting for the anti-Japanese resistance, frozen in 1936.

No matter how much his descendants praised his patriotic beliefs, he lamented that he could not do a great thing for the country for decades, and he was even more anxious day and night that he could not return to China.

In 1990, Zhang Xueliang's old subordinate Lu Guangji received a handwritten letter from Zhang Xueliang, and until his death in 1993, he waited to meet Zhang Xueliang.

On the occasion of Zhou Enlai's death, he instructed his old subordinates in charge of Taiwan work: "Don't forget Taiwan's old friends!" In 1992, before Deng Yingchao died of illness, he still remembered Zhang Xueliang. Like Zhou Enlai, one of her biggest regrets in life was that she did not see this old friend again.

In 1995, Zhang Xueliang's former confidential secretary Guo Weicheng died of illness, he was injured and almost struggled to live, just waiting for Zhang Xueliang to return...

One by one, the deceased people left, but Zhang Xueliang was still involuntary.

Both Zhang Lulin and Zhang Juxin understood and remembered them in their hearts. Whether Zhang Xueliang can see it or not, they are all in their own way to make up for the defects in Zhang Xueliang's heart in his later years.

Pictured| Zhang Xueliang holding his grandson Zhang Juxin

In 2004, Zhang Juxin was offered an offer as an adjunct professor at Northeastern University. The bond between him and his hometown has one more, and the imprint of his homeland has one more.

In August 2005, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Mr. and Mrs. Zhang Lulin received an invitation again and returned to the motherland to participate in the grand commemorative activities.

This time, Zhang Lulin and his wife made a special trip to Xi'an.

60 years ago, in order to resist Japan and save the country, Zhang Xueliang consulted Chiang Kai-shek several times, and after being repeatedly rejected, he angrily launched the "Xi'an Incident". Today, Zhang Lulin lives in the simple Zhang Xueliang Mansion, and when she closes her eyes, she seems to be able to feel her father's surging patriotism.

Zhang Lulin's body has too heavy family responsibilities, and there is also a family legend that cannot be told for days and nights.

He conveyed this complex and profound emotion to his son Zhang Juxin, who, like his father, traveled to the northeast and came to Xi'an again and again, insisting that his children learn Chinese and understand China's history and culture. A hundred years of vicissitudes, exotic drifting, can not give up their feelings with this land. The descendants of a patriot, wherever they may be, cannot lose their homeland, and their motherland will never forget them.
