In order to do a good job in drowning prevention, enhance students' awareness of drowning prevention and self-rescue ability, improve students' safety awareness, and improve the ability of teachers and students to avoid danger and self-rescue in the event of major disasters, on the morning of April 29, 2024, the West School of Huangchuan Experimental Primary School Education Group held an earthquake emergency evacuation drill and drowning prevention underwater suffocation experience activity.
The event is divided into two parts: earthquake emergency drill and drowning prevention underwater suffocation experience.
As the commander-in-chief of the drill issued the password of "Huangchuan County Experimental Primary School Education Group West School Earthquake Emergency Evacuation Drill Begins", the alarm sounded, and all students immediately protected their heads with books or hands and hid under their desks to avoid the shock.
After hearing the evacuation signal, the students in each class, under the leadership of the class teacher and the squadron counselor, quickly and orderly evacuated to the designated emergency shelter.
The whole emergency evacuation drill was participated by all teachers and students, and the students achieved a short time, "fast, quiet, and together" orderly evacuation, and the activities were orderly.
Afterwards, an underwater suffocation prevention activity was held in the playground. The activity has four links: drill explanation, participation experience, exchange of feelings, spot check and recitation of drowning prevention "six nos and one meeting".
Before the start of the drowning prevention underwater suffocation experience activity, Wan Yinjie, director of the safety office, told the students about the importance of participating in the drill and emphasized the precautions for the underwater suffocation experience.
During the experiential activity, the students took a deep breath and buried their heads in the prepared water basin to "hold their breath", and after dozens of seconds, the students poked their heads out one after another to complete an experience.
During the drill, Director Wan randomly interviewed several participating students, and everyone said: The feeling of not being able to breathe is too uncomfortable and frightening, and we will never go down to the river to play in the water without permission in the future, and we must cherish life. At the same time, some students were also randomly inspected to recite the "six not one meeting", and the students who were selected were able to recite proficiently.
