Summer is the time when there is a high incidence of student drowning accidents. In order to further strengthen school safety education, ensure the safety of students' lives, help students enhance their awareness of drowning prevention safety, and master the knowledge and skills of drowning prevention. Recently, the Shen County Experimental Junior High School and Primary School Department has carried out a series of drowning prevention safety education activities.
First of all, each class held a class meeting with the theme of "cherishing life and preventing drowning", and each class teacher emphasized the hazards of drowning to students through data broadcasting, case analysis, etc., popularized the knowledge of drowning prevention, and clearly required students to strictly abide by the "six prohibitions" and "four nos" to prevent drowning in summer swimming.
The school also issued a letter to the parents of the students, calling on parents to strengthen the drowning prevention education for their children, effectively shoulder the responsibility of guardians, truly realize home-school cooperation and collaborative education, and escort the safe, happy and happy growth of children. According to the school's drowning prevention publicity and education and the drowning prevention knowledge learned at the theme class meeting, the students in each class carefully designed and produced hand-copied newspapers, and vividly displayed the "drowning prevention" knowledge in the form of pictures and texts.
The development of drowning prevention safety education activities has effectively enhanced the safety awareness of all students, and also improved the parents' awareness of children's safety supervision, and effectively promoted the school safety education work.
