On the afternoon of May 29, the construction of the main engineering structure of the construction project (phase I) of Xidian Experimental Middle School in Jinning District, Kunming City was completed, and the full capping was realized.
Jinning District West Point Experimental Middle School is a key project of the Jinning District Party Committee and the District Government to implement the "Action Plan for Expanding and Improving the Quality of Basic Education". In accordance with the planning and design of Yunnan Province's first-class first-class high school completion standards, we will strive to build a regionally leading, first-class in Yunnan, well-known in southwest China, and influential senior high school in the country.
The project is located in Gudian Resort, Jinning District, Kunming City, with a total investment of about 421 million yuan, a total area of 110.7 acres, and a total construction area of about 110,000 square meters. The project will be constructed in two phases, the first phase of construction includes a 5-storey teaching building, a 9-storey dormitory building, a canteen, a 400-meter standard playground and ancillary facilities, and will enter the stage of interior decoration and equipment installation after the capping to meet the teaching needs of the school in September 2024.
The project officially started in January 2024, lasted nearly 5 months, completed the capping of the main structure on May 29, and is expected to be delivered and accepted in early August to meet the needs of the official opening of the school in September. The school will be open to students from all over the city.
It is understood that the scale of Xidian Experimental Middle School in Jinning District, Kunming City is 42 high school teaching classes and 2,100 degrees, of which 600 are public-funded degrees and 1,500 are self-financed. In September this year, about 350 students are expected to be enrolled in the first year of high school, including 200 publicly-funded degrees, including 80 students from Jinning.
