In order to improve the public's awareness and participation in garbage classification, and jointly promote the green development of the city. On May 12, students from the No. 5 (13) Squadron of Xuecheng District Experimental Primary School walked out of the campus and came to the streets and alleys of the city and in the community, holding leaflets and garbage sorting guides to popularize the knowledge of garbage classification to passers-by and residents in the community.
At the event, the students patiently explained the importance and methods of garbage sorting to the passing citizens. They detailed the classification standards for various types of waste, such as recyclables, hazardous waste, food waste and other waste, and emphasized the importance of proper sorting for resource recovery and environmental protection. In addition to oral publicity, the students also prepared vivid posters and illustrated garbage sorting guides for the citizens to read freely, which received positive response and support from the general public.
This garbage classification practice activity not only improved the public's awareness and participation in environmental protection, but also showed a good image of contemporary students actively participating in social practice and promoting social progress.
