Minerva Perez, president of Atenea en el Mar, a local Mexican company, expressed confidence that if the plan is officially launched, it will increase the number of employees and adopt a three-shift operation. The company exports about 40 tonnes of products such as geoduck and abalone per month, and this is the first time they have processed scallops from Japan.
