Necropsy examination of dead ducks showed fibrinous exudate on the serous surface, most obviously on the pericardium, liver surface and air sac, the air sac was cloudy and thickened, and the air sac wall was attached to the fibrinous exudate, there was mucopurulent exudate in the sinuses, and the spleen was enlarged and mottled.
