In order to further promote the protection of ancient and famous trees, inherit the red culture. Recently, our county carried out a special research activity on public interest litigation of "protection of ancient and famous trees" and held a symposium. Wu Jun, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, and Zhao Peng, Procurator General of the County People's Procuratorate, attended.
The research team successively went to Gaojia Village and Bicun in Gaojia Village to conduct field research to learn more about the actual situation and protection status of ancient and famous trees in our county, and affirmed the practice of accurate survey and systematic storage of ancient and famous trees.
At the subsequent symposium, the person in charge of the Party History Research Office expounded the importance of the protection of ancient and famous trees to the inheritance of red culture; the relevant person in charge of the county people's procuratorate read out the work plan for the protection of ancient and famous trees; and other participants exchanged speeches on the protection of ancient and famous trees in our county.
Zhao Peng pointed out that ancient and famous trees are treasures in natural resources, inheriting the history and culture of human development, and carrying the nostalgia of the people, the county people's procuratorate will take this investigation as an opportunity to give full play to the public interest litigation prosecution function, increase support for the protection of ancient and famous trees, and urge relevant departments to perform their duties in accordance with the law, promote the normalization, standardization and scientificization of the protection and management of ancient tree resources in our county, and contribute to the construction of ecological rejuvenation of the county.
Wu Jun demanded that the relevant departments should further improve the archives, comprehensively find out the "family background" of ancient and famous trees in the county, establish and improve the dynamic management and information management mechanism of ancient and famous trees, and improve the quality of protection of ancient and famous trees. It is necessary to intensify the publicity and protection of ancient and famous trees, actively guide the cadres and the masses to take the initiative to participate in the protection of ancient and famous trees, effectively improve the awareness of the whole people to protect ancient and famous trees, and create a good atmosphere for the whole society to participate in the protection of ancient and famous trees.
