In accordance with the work deployment of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government to comprehensively promote the "15-minute Community Life Circle" action and the work requirements of the "2024 Shanghai "15-minute Community Life Circle" Action Plan, the "People's City Classroom" builds a training and exchange platform to promote exchanges and demonstrate the effectiveness of the "15-minute Community Life Circle" action at the city, district and street levels, and attracts expert lecturers, community planners, architectural landscape architects, social workers, community residents and other parties to participate in the construction of the people's city.
On May 7, 2024, the special lecture of the People's City Classroom was held in Ouyang Road Street, Hongkou District, and was broadcast live online. With the theme of the 2023 city's excellent case "Ouyang Road Cultural Activity Block Promotion", this lecture invited project designer Li Yunbai to share the topic, and the relevant leading departments, relevant departments, heads of towns and towns and relevant design teams of the "15-minute community life circle" action in each district actively participated in offline and online training.

With the theme of the whole process of the renovation project, designer Li Yunbai extracted the triple history of Ouyang Road - red history, industrial history and life history through extensive and in-depth visits and research, combined the historical context with the "15-minute community life circle" action, presented the red culture, industrial culture and life culture of Ouyang Road from multiple angles, excavated and showed the collective memory of the residents of the Ouyang Road community, stimulated the extensive enthusiasm of residents to participate in community governance, and formed a system that promoted the happiness of residents. A virtuous cycle of increasing sense of gain and identity.
At the same time, the "Ouyang Road Cultural Activity Block Improvement" project won the 2023 Shanghai "15-minute Community Life Circle" Excellent Case, Beautiful Creation Award and Communication Demonstration Award for the Humanistic Style Track.
On-site visits
After the lecture, the participants walked on the century-old Ouyang Road and visited some classic sites in the first and second phases of the "Ouyang Road Cultural Activity Block Promotion" project. Theme sculptures, pocket green spaces, wall painting stories, physical museum collections, art and light shows, etc. have become a new carrier of the "15-minute community life circle" for residents to co-build, co-govern and share.
