Recently, the Propaganda Department of the Shenmu Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, the Municipal People's Procuratorate and other departments, together with the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, launched a special action of "Strengthening the Rule of Law and Helping the Protection of Cultural Relics" to popularize the law and public interest litigation of cultural relics.
At the event, through the reading of the "Proposal for Cultural Relics Protection" and "Opinions on Coordinating the Promotion of Procuratorial Public Interest Litigation and Promoting the Protection of Cultural Relics", the public interest litigation work of the Shenmu City Cultural Relics Protection Procuratorate in recent years and the discipline enforcement and supervision since the special rectification of cultural heritage was carried out. The site also introduced the relevant laws and regulations on the protection of cultural relics to the public and popularized the knowledge of cultural relics protection through the distribution of brochures on the protection of cultural relics, the popularization of the law on the protection of cultural relics and the photo exhibition of public interest litigation.
This activity has further enhanced the awareness of the broad masses of the people to understand, care for and protect cultural relics, and has played a positive role in enhancing the participation of the whole people in the protection of cultural relics. In the future, the Shenmu Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism will actively build a departmental coordination and linkage mechanism, give full play to the public interest litigation function of the procuratorate, and form a strong synergy for the protection of cultural relics. At the same time, we will further strengthen the safety inspection of cultural relics, strictly abide by the bottom line of cultural relics safety, and promote the high-quality development of cultural relics.
