金字塔之巅 On Top of the Pyramid
The Nile River flows through the thousands of miles of desert and flows north into the Mediterranean Sea, where the fertile black soil on the banks of the river nurtured life, where the ancient Egyptian civilization germinated and became one of the sources of human civilization. It gave birth to early writing, cities, and states, developed complex and self-contained belief systems, and underwent the selection and reinvention of multiple civilizations in a long period of integration and exchange with the surrounding region. The sacred spaces created by the pyramids and temples, and the magnificent frescoes buried in the Valley of the Kings and the tombs of the nobles, together build the eternal myth of ancient Egyptian civilization.
On the west bank of the Nile in the morning, the temple of Hatshepsut is surrounded by red earth.
Through the three sections of "The Kingdom of the Pharaohs", "The Secret of Saqqara" and "The Age of Tutankhamun", the exhibition unfolds an independent narrative, looking back on the long years nourished by the great river, tracing the interweaving of myth and reality, gaining insight into the overall appearance and historical details of ancient Egyptian civilization, and interpreting the profound connotation of ancient Egyptian civilization from different perspectives.
In "Top of the Pyramids: Ancient Egyptian Civilization", visitors will enjoy:
The Land of the Pharaohs
"The Kingdom of the Pharaohs" will introduce the world of the gods, which is a reflection of the ancient Egyptians' cosmology rooted in the natural geographical environment, and present a condensed history of ancient Egyptian civilization, discussing the ancient Egyptians' cosmological concepts, social order, writing, craftsman skills, burial customs, etc., covering all aspects from social system, daily life to the spiritual world.

The Secrets of Saqqara
Saqara archaeological site
"The Secrets of Saqqara" will systematically unveil for the first time the major discoveries made by the Egyptian archaeological team since the launch of independent archaeology in the Saqqara region, tracing the long trajectory of religious practices, including the worship of sacred animals, the worship of the cat god Bastet, and the funeral customs of the cat god priests, etc., to interpret the cultural significance of Saqara as a retro capital.
The exhibition hall incorporates "youth-friendly" into the design principles, lowers the height of the display cases and display belts, designs touchable cultural relics models, dynamically interprets the one-sided cat god, and creates a montage of cat temples, in order to arouse the audience's reverie through the combination of virtual and real scenes.

The Age of Tutankhamun
The narrative of the exhibition is integrated with the rhythmic space of the exhibition hall. The audience will enter the encircling video space through the narrow walkway, witnessing the life ritual of the young pharaoh and empathizing with the life and death separation of the 14th century BC. The blank space near the large statue attempts to restore the grandeur of the desert seen from the inside of the building, and to leave enough space for the statues of the two pharaohs to look at each other.
