The implementation of subsidies is flexible and flexible in Beijing, and meticulous and strict in Shanghai

Due to the impact of the 2022 Green Winter Olympics, most of the fuel cell companies in Beijing have corresponding demonstration application opportunities; and Shanghai, as the city that started fuel cell demonstration operations earlier in the mainland, also has a number of enterprises with rich operating experience.

According to the notice of the Beijing fuel cell vehicle demonstration application project declaration in April, Beijing's demonstration operation mainly revolves around the four major application scenarios of interprovincial special line freight, urban heavy cargo transportation, urban logistics distribution, and urban passenger transportation, which involves the competition and cooperation of many fuel cell industries.

Recently, the Beijing Bureau of Economy and Information Technology also released the list of "demonstration application consortiums", of which beiqi Foton, FAW Jiefang, Yutong bus, and Jinlong United (Suzhou) four enterprises became the joint demonstration lead units.

It is worth mentioning that in this Beijing passenger transport declaration project, there are 3 sub-projects with a total of 312 buses involved in the requirements for the use of the winter Olympic demonstration vehicles after the transfer. In terms of declaration, vehicles that have already served in the Winter Olympics are required to be eligible.

Therefore, yihuatong, national hydrogen technology and other enterprises that have supported the hydrogen vehicle demonstration of the Winter Olympics have occupied a certain market opportunity, but with the efforts of other enterprises in the future, the overall market may usher in a new round of changes.

Compared with the Beijing area, the Shanghai government has made a faster progress in the demonstration and promotion of fuel cells.

As the first city in China to announce that it has passed the review of the fuel cell demonstration city cluster and the first city to announce the start of the demonstration city cluster, Shanghai has once again led the implementation of the fuel cell demonstration city cluster, and officially announced the first batch of demonstration application leading enterprises in January 2022.
