On 5 May 2022, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the International Alliance for Midwifery, we celebrated the 31st International Midwifery Day. The theme of this year's Midwife's Day is "Centennial Achievements".
There is such a beautiful group of angels, different from doctors and nurses, who shoulder the health and safety of mother and baby for two generations. They walk through the delivery room every day, carefully take care of every pregnant mother's childbirth journey, give the pregnant mothers firm strength with gentle words and simple smiles, and greet the young angels with delicate hands.
