About China Bone Marrow Bank
The China Bone Marrow Bank is a database of hematopoietic stem cell donors in China, which aims to mobilize and call on the whole society to dedicate love, search for hematopoietic stem cell donors with matching types for patients with severe blood diseases, and provide transplant-related services.
Up to now, the data of hematopoietic stem cell volunteer donors in the China Bone Marrow Bank has exceeded 3.44 million, and the number of unrelated hematopoietic stem cell donations has exceeded 17,000.
If you join the Chinese Bone Marrow Bank and are lucky enough to be matched with a patient with HLA (human leukocyte antigen), you can donate hematopoietic stem cells to help the patient get back to life.
How to "Put"
Inbound conditions
Persons aged between 18 and 45 years old, in good health, and eligible for unpaid blood donation, will have 8ml of blood samples drawn on site and added to the China Bone Marrow Bank.

Will it affect my health?
Hematopoietic stem cells have a high degree of self-renewal, self-replication and strong regenerative ability. When healthy volunteers donate hematopoietic stem cells, the reduction in the number of blood cells prompts the bone marrow to release reserve blood cells and stimulates the hematopoietic function of the bone marrow. About 1~2 weeks after donating hematopoietic stem cells, various components in the blood will return to the level before donation. Therefore, donating hematopoietic stem cells does not affect physical health.
