At the same time, julang hybrid GMC2.0's first SUV, Trumpchi Yingku, was also officially unveiled. In terms of electrification strategy, GAC Trumpchi will also launch hybrid models of Shadow Leopard and M8 this year.

GAC Trumpchi's self-developed GMC dual motor series parallel hybrid system has undergone many iterations, with five core characteristics of "high quality, low fuel consumption, strong power, quieter and super smooth", and has strong scalability, covering oil-electric hybrid, plug-in hybrid, extender hybrid, and even hydrogen power system.
The 2.0ATK engine on the GMC Hybrid System has a maximum thermal efficiency of 42.1%, which has stronger power and better fuel economy. GMC electromechanical coupling system pioneered the integrated dual motor multi-stop DHT, which realizes multi-stop multi-mode drive and high torque output, and the thermal efficiency utilization rate under WLTC conditions exceeds 95.5%. The system has two gears, one more gear than other hybrid systems on the market, improving the torque output at the same time, so that the vehicle energy consumption is lower, the power is stronger, AND form shift mechanism also makes the shift action more smooth.

In addition, for the first time in the industry, the GMC hybrid system has passed the reliability verification of 10g vibration acceleration and has undergone more than 100,000 hours of bench testing. The verification of the vehicle equivalent of 10 million kilometers covers the regions and climates such as alpine cold, high temperature, plateau, high humidity, high corrosion, mountainous areas, sand and dust, and comprehensively verifies the reliability of the system.
Another technical route of Julang Hybrid, based on the digestion and absorption of Toyota's technology and breakthrough innovation, GAC 2.0TM engine + Toyota's latest THS power shunt hybrid system, takes into account low fuel consumption and strong power. The new second-generation GS8 dual-engine series equipped with this hybrid system has a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 6.9 seconds and a tank of fuel can travel up to 2022 km/ h. As of now, the order volume of the second-generation GS8 is steadily climbing.
Yingku set another milestone in the "electrification" of Trumpchi
The first product of Julang Hybrid, Yingku, originated from the EMKOO concept car, is a compact SUV built based on GAC's GPMA architecture, and is also a milestone product of GAC Trumpchi in the field of hybridization. The EMKOO concept has attracted a lot of attention since its debut. For the naming of mass-produced models, GAC Trumpchi adopted the form of co-creation with users, collected through the Internet, and finally voted for the name of "Yingku".
In terms of overall design, Yingku continues the aesthetic design language of the technology industry of EMKOO concept models, highlighting the aesthetics of youth and personality. The front face of the "Transition Raster" is designed with a V-shaped array, and the grille strips are arranged radially; the "Eye of Revelation" headlights make the front face more prominent.
