The so-called situational education is to use the environment to set up special situations to form information sources that invisibly affect people's ideological consciousness through vision, hearing, and feeling, so as to achieve the purpose of enlightenment. Generally speaking, it is divided into indoor and outdoor education.
Everyone knows the story of Meng Mu's three migrations, and Confucius's mother also "often Chen Li Dou and sets up ceremonial appearance", saying that all are realm teachings. Zeng Guo Lide, a famous minister of the Qing Dynasty, made meritorious contributions to the "three immortals", educated his descendants through family letters during his lifetime, and continued to educate through jingjiao after his death, so that his descendants were born.
We often say that the environment educates people, its efficacy and influence are great, and it is incomparable to on-site tangible education. Just like roadside billboards, when people pass by, they will always form trajectories through visual stimulation of brain nerves, unconsciously remember and remember content, and even generate the desire to buy. This is the billboard effect. Using this principle of effect, giving play to the functions of prompting, vigilance and motivation, and applying it to the personality education of adolescents is of great benefit and doing more with less.
There are many forms and methods of environmental education, and the following mainly introduces several conventional practices of environmental education:
1. Set up "home training". Generally, in the center of the living room of the home, the calligraphy and paintings with the connotation of "family training" are mainly written, such as: respecting heaven and loving people, self-improvement, thick morality, quiet and far-reaching, good as water, and filial piety, quiet, good... The master chooses the content of the text with his own correct value orientation and the dominant consciousness of actual needs, forming the collective personality of the home. If the master's calligraphy level is relatively high, it is better to write the text by himself.
2. Paste "Map of China, Map of the World". Generally choose the appropriate position in the living room or study room at home, the light should be good, and it is convenient to stop. On the one hand, it helps children learn geographical knowledge, understand the overall geographical landscape of China and the world, and understand the direction of China and the world's mountains and rivers... On the one hand, it guides and cultivates children's emotional pattern of having the motherland in mind and looking at the world.
3. Hang a "family portrait" group photo. Whether it is everyone or a small family, it is necessary to take a group photo of the whole family, through enlargement, over-plastic, inlay, hanging on the living room wall, or placed on the TV cabinet... It's visible to the eye, and every look is bright. It aims to create a warm, harmonious and happy atmosphere, so that a still photo flows with a warm cyclone of dear, loving and true love that nourishes the child's heart.
4. Set up a bookcase. Bookcases can be set up in the living room, in the children's room or in the dedicated study. The size of the bookcase depends on the actual size of the house. Conditions permit and can be placed in multiple locations. Regardless of the size of the bookcase, it is best to fill it all with a variety of books, according to the different ages of the child. A full and neat cabinet of books will give children a visual impact, familiarity and goodwill are equal to encounters, and long-term love will be loved. There must be a chair and a desk next to the bookcase in the special study. Put a water cup on the desk.
5. Arrange the honor wall. Generally in the child's room or special study, choose an empty wall, and post or hang all kinds of awards, medals, honorary certificates or certificates obtained by the child on the wall; the calligraphy, painting, paper-cutting and other works created by the child can also be attached to the wall... 6. Collect photos to record the child's personal growth. Modern family mobile phone photography has become a daily trivial matter, and the life of the child after birth can be taken casually to witness the child's growth process. Choose from a wide range of photos for special periods and special interests, display them against the wall in the bedroom of the elders, or set them in a frame on the bedside table. Whenever a child passes, he will always pay special attention to it and feel the taste of love from the bottom of his heart.
7. Several other featured sets. In the child's bedroom or study, there should be art ornaments, green plants, globes, eight planet maps, and classic players of Traditional Chinese Studies. These are all realm teaching props, and when used flexibly and flexibly, it will produce a unique taste and actively and naturally infiltrate the child. In addition, the walls and curtains of the room should be decorated green, quiet and soft; avoid red, red is easy to dry and uneasy.
8. Outdoor experience. There are more and larger outdoor education spaces, such as libraries, cultural centers, science and technology museums, museums, exhibition halls and various special memorial halls, as well as scenic spots, natural scenic areas, botanical gardens, zoos, urban parks...
