Riding a BMW to deliver medicine to the elderly, the magic capital of this group of people as errand boys do not make money

Because of a motorcycle, Xiaoxiao suddenly became the most free person during the period of Shanghai's lockdown.

He is 43 years old, the owner of an international freight forwarding company and a veteran motorcycle enthusiast.

Since the epidemic, many couriers have been sealed at home, and the distribution of materials has always been a problem, especially medicine.

In order to help more people solve the need to buy medicine, Xiaoxiao rode his motorcycle to pull the wind and became a flash delivery man.

Since the beginning of April, as soon as the nucleic acid report comes out, he will open his mobile phone to take orders and run all over Pudong to deliver medicines to everyone.

It was far more difficult than he had imagined. The most troublesome one, he waited in the hospital for a pair of medicines for the cancer elderly, only completed this order a day, and finally earned 65 yuan.

In Xiaoxiao's view, the outside world is indeed chaotic. But in the end, it is only the suffering of all sentient beings.

Here's his self-description.

01

Yin and yang mistakenly had the opportunity to go out

It took a long time to decide to run errands

Last summer, in order to let my son who was in junior high school experience the hard work of making money, I signed up for a flash courier. From Monday to Friday, I took him to deliver takeaways and eat box lunches every day until the start of school.

At that time, I could not imagine that I would one day pick up this identity again.

I live in Zhoupu Town, Pudong, and the community began to seal and control very early. At the end of March, I received a notice from the flash delivery platform, according to the regulations of the Commission of Commerce, I can use the flash delivery certificate in the APP and the 48-hour nucleic acid report to pass through the community.

However, the prevention and control policies of each community are different, and whether they can go out or not is ultimately decided by the community.

At that time, I was volunteering in the community, and I saw that many neighbors were anxious because of the lack of daily necessities, so I tentatively asked the secretary of our neighborhood committee: If I want to be a courier, will you let me out?

Unexpectedly, he was particularly supportive, saying that he could get me a pass, as long as he did a good job of killing before entering the community.

To this day, I am still very grateful to this secretary of the party committee. After all, if something happens, he will be responsible, but he still resisted the pressure and gave me this opportunity to help others.

However, despite his consent, I was hesitant to actually take this step. I wasn't the only one in the family, but I also had my wife and children, and I was worried about getting the virus outside and coming back to pass it on to them.

Xiaoxiao's motorcycle "BMW Waterbird"

A few days later, I was approached by a "moped friend" in the motorcycle group I joined. An elderly man he knows who lives alone will not grab vegetables on the Internet, and his family is running out of food. He wanted to send some food and medicine to the old man, but he was helplessly sealed in another community, and it was difficult to move, asking me if I could think of a way.

My nucleic acid just came out of the results, didn't think much about it, took the report, rode on the car, and I set off.

Sealed for so many days, the first time I came to the outside world, the scene in front of me I will never forget.

Shanghai is already an empty city, there are no cars and no people on the road, just like watching a science fiction movie, it is not real at all.

The ground is piled with fallen leaves, making the city even more depressed. I had never seen Shanghai like this before, and I was suddenly very sad.

There would be police checkpoints at some large intersections, and I showed them my flashman certificate and nucleic acid report, and I was released smoothly.

I rode all the way to the neighborhood where Mo You lived, took a large bag of supplies he had prepared, and sent these things to the old man.

Seeing the old man trembling and majestically coming to me, thanking me very much, I felt very careless not to go, in fact, everything was bought by Moyou in advance, I just helped to send it, it is nothing at all. But for many, this may be exactly what is desperately needed now.

This incident touched me a lot. After returning home that day, I finally made up my mind to be a flash courier to help everyone run errands.

After consulting with the family, they were all very much in favor. My wife only gave me two requirements: First, do a good job of personal protection. Second, it cannot be aimed at making money.

Earn 65 bucks a day

I didn't dare to go to the toilet for 7 hours

Because I had to have a nucleic acid certificate within 48 hours every time I went on the road, the nucleic acid results came out more slowly, so I could only go out once every two days.

I usually leave at 9:00 a.m. and run home around 4:00 p.m. Bring a loaf of bread and a bottle of water before you go out, and it's my lunch. Drink less water and try not to go to the toilet outside.

Every time I go home, I will do a killing before entering the community, and do it again in the unit building. All the equipment and motorcycles on my body, I will spray it carefully with alcohol, not only for myself, but also for the safety of my family and the whole community.

Fortunately, our building has been in a state of total yin so far.

The first time I took an order, I was startled by the huge demand. As soon as the software was opened, it rang non-stop, and the single amount was at least 3 or 4 times that of the summer vacation.

I always give priority to the list of drugs, and then the remarks state "the elderly living alone". The price of each order is about 30 or 40 yuan, which is actually not much different from before the epidemic.

Among the drugs that everyone needs, alcohol, bruise drugs, quick-acting heart-saving pills, hypertension drugs are more conventional, sometimes the nearby pharmacies are out of stock, I can also buy a few more, most of the pharmacies in Pudong are open at present.

But some unpopular prescription drugs are in trouble and you have to go to a designated hospital.

I once took an order that an elderly person with prostate cancer needed to be prescribed medicine in a cancer hospital. I went to his house, got his medicare card, and then rushed to the hospital to help him register.

At that time, there were no people in the hospital, and almost all the doctors and nurses were transferred to the front line of the fight against the epidemic. I waited for a long time before I called out and finally prescribed the medicine.

It was $65, but because it took so long, I only made one order all day.

One of the most thrilling impressions was a girl's order, and she used several exclamation points in her notes: "Urgent! urgent! urgent! The dog is going to be out of the way!! ”

Her dog suddenly had diarrhea all the time, and the situation was severe. She contacted a veterinary hospital that was still open online, and the doctor learned about the situation and said that she had to buy medicine.

I quickly took the medicine and sent it to her. More than 20 minutes later, she called and said that the dog had been rescued, thanked me very much, wanted to tip me, and asked for my Alipay account number.

I didn't give it to her, after all, it wasn't for the purpose of making money, and I was happy to be able to help.

I don't think I've done anything remarkable, because everyone in the city is helping each other. For example, the doctor at this pet hospital has been living in the store during the epidemic. And then there are the pharmacy clerks, who have been laying the floor for days in order to maintain operations.

Once my own father called and said he had something he needed urgently, but I couldn't deliver it, and then a nurse in his neighborhood with a pass helped him out.

I think that's what I'm trying to do when I go out running errands, I'm helping other people's parents, other people's children, just as other people are helping my parents, my children.

There may be people who get rich

But there are more hard-working people

I heard that I had become a flash courier, and many of my friends envied me, thinking that I could let the wind out, and some people wondered if I had made a lot of money.

I can understand people's misunderstanding of this line of work, after all, I myself have seen a lot of chaos these days.

Some brothers will temporarily increase the price, and the delivery fee is less than 200 yuan and refuses to run. I was also in several courier groups, and I heard rumors about PS nucleic acid reports and even spending 50 to 100 yuan to find someone to do nucleic acids.

When I walked around the street, I saw some trucks carrying supplies with banners that read "Rush to Shanghai", but there was a circle of minivans parked around and everything was bought.

There are also fruit shops and small supermarkets, which obviously do not meet the business standards, but they have opened a slit, secretly traded, and do not know whether they have done a good job of killing.

Seeing these phenomena, I am also angry. But this is only a minority after all, and most of the people I meet are still very good.

When I rested two days ago, I chatted with the brother next to me, and he told me that the regular platform is not allowed to take private orders, and a takeaway worker like him can probably earn about five or six hundred a day during the epidemic, which is still very desperate.

Every guy I met on the road was covered with a circle of things on the car until there was no gap in the whole car.

Many of the brothers' communities are not as enlightened as I am here, strictly requiring them to "only enter and leave", they can only sleep in the bridge at night, eat instant noodles and do not even have boiling water.

I also met a little brother who was in his own small truck for food and lodging, and had to pay 40 yuan a day to do nucleic acid.

There may be people who get rich, but there are really many people who are bitter.

In this epidemic, because I have registered a flash delivery person, I have the opportunity to deliver supplies for everyone. Many Moyou also want to contribute, but since the Shanghai seal, the platform has closed the channel to become a rider, probably because no one wants to take advantage of the loophole.

But they are all doing what they can in their respective communities. Some are volunteers who use motorcycles to help their neighbors pull goods; others are in the food business and donate a ton of rice to their communities.

My motorcycle model is a BMW Waterbird. Those of us who play with water birds are basically "old people" over 40 years old. We have a group called "Poetry and Distant Places of Water Birds", before the epidemic, people in the group often rode to Tibet and Xinjiang together... The furthest time we went to Russia, cycling around Lake Baikal.

I hope that the epidemic will pass as soon as possible, and I believe that the end of the water bird is still poetry and far away.
