From 24:00 on May 1 to 9, in less than 10 days, a total of 476 cases of asymptomatic infected people in Yingkou City were reported, and the number of asymptomatic infected people found in Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College alone reached 320.

According to the official website of the school, the school is a provincial full-time public vocational college with agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery as the main category, located in Xiongyue Town, Bayuquan District, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, with 14,437 students currently enrolled.

The current round of the epidemic in Yingkou City began on May 1, when the city reported 29 new cases of local asymptomatic infection, all in Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College.

In the days since, the number of infected people found at the school has climbed day by day, including 103 new infections on May 3, and a total of 177 new asymptomatic infections in three days.

On May 2, the Party Secretary and Dean of Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College jointly issued a letter to all students and parents. The letter revealed that the school has been closed for more than 40 days since March 13, "but in the end, it was suddenly broken and affected students." For this reason, on behalf of the party and government leadership team of the college, we would like to express our deep apologies to all students and parents. ”

After the outbreak of the epidemic on campus, according to Liaoning Daily, on May 3, entrusted by Zhang Guoqing, secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee, Li Lecheng, deputy secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and governor of Liaoning Province, went to the Bayuquan District of Yingkou City to learn about the school's emergency handling.

Li Lecheng said at Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College that the timely launching of emergency plans and timely transfer and isolation are key factors in the school's effective and orderly handling of the epidemic.

In order to control the spread within the school, Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College has strictly implemented closed-loop management, orderly transfer of close and sub-close contact personnel, all teachers, students and employees in the school to implement single rooms, and organize multiple batches of more than 200 teachers and staff to join the volunteer service team.

The campus has implemented a fully enclosed static grid management, catering goods distribution, garbage cleaning closed-loop operation, all student apartment buildings are equipped with 1 management cadre or counselor on each floor, and each off-campus isolation point is equipped with 3-8 cadres and teachers to strengthen management.

In response to the sudden outbreak, the campus has launched several rounds of nucleic acid screening, four rounds of nucleic acid full yin in Xiongyue Town, three rounds of nucleic acid full yin in Bayuquan District, and the fourth round of global nucleic acid screening will be launched in the whole district today.

As of now, the cluster epidemic in Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College has not spread outside the school. The picture information released by the school's official WeChat public account on May 9 shows: "The provincial leaders are very satisfied and affirm that the epidemic situation in Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College has not spread to the society. ”

In recent days, the number of newly reported infected people in Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College has declined in fluctuations, and at 0-24:00 on May 9, 35 new cases of asymptomatic infection were added in Yingkou City, of which 11 cases were located in Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College, and the epidemic prevention and control situation is still grim.

From 00:00 on May 5, Yingkou City has implemented closed management of residential quarters and villages (communities) in Zhanqian District, Xicheng District and Laobian District. On May 7, the Yingkou Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters issued a traffic control notice, saying that in light of the current severe epidemic situation, it was decided to upgrade the management and implement 24-hour control from May 7, and the traffic lights were all red.

The Yingkou Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters Office also issued a notice on May 9 saying that the city is carrying out several rounds of nucleic acid testing within the main urban area. For those who do not participate in the test, they will be given a yellow code for the health code of Liaoshitong, and they will not leave the area after lifting the control measures, shall not enter various public places, shall not take public transportation, and shall not participate in various gathering activities.

At present, the source of the epidemic on campus has not yet been clarified. Wu Liangyou, deputy director of the Disease Control Bureau of the National Health Commission, reminded at the press conference of the joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council on May 6 that the recent outbreak of new infections in Liaoning and other places with unknown origin has a hidden transmission risk, and it is more difficult to trace the source of investigation and control prevention.
