Among them, Changan Automobile and BYD also ranked among the top 3 retail sales. In the ranking of wholesale sales, Changan Automobile surpassed the North and South Volkswagens and won the championship.

According to the production and sales announcement released by Changan Automobile, in the first quarter of this year, the sales volume of Changan Automobile's Chinese brand passenger cars was 363,300 units, and according to the sales performance of 228,500 units from January to February, changan automobiles sold 134,700 Chinese brand passenger cars in March.
It is understood that this is the second time this year that Changan Automobile has won the "sales crown" of Chinese brand passenger cars. Thanks to this, in the first quarter of this year, the sales gap between Changan Automobile and Geely Automobile, BYD and Great Wall Motors is gradually widening. From January to March, Changan Automobile has opened a gap of 37,000 units with the second place Geely Automobile.

As the annual sales champion of the Chinese brand passenger car market for five consecutive years, although Geely Automobile's sales data this year is not so amazing, its high-end product sequence, the China Star Sequence, is full of highlights. According to the data, Geely Automobile achieved sales of 101,200 units in March, an increase of both year-on-year.
Among them, the sales performance of the high-end series China Star has stabilized, basically with a monthly sales of 20,000 vehicles, gaining a firm foothold in the market. In March this year, the China Star series achieved sales of 21,700 units, accounting for nearly 30% of total sales.
Compared with the China Star series, Geely Automobile's sales in the car market have played a role in the recovery of the Emgrand family, and have also become a major highlight of Geely Automobile's sales performance in March. According to the data, the sales volume of the Emgrand family reached 24,800 units in March, although the gap between the BYD Qin family, which sold 24,700 new cars, is not large, but this achievement is enough for Emgrand to regain the championship of independent cars.

Although Great Wall Motors fell out of the top three, the five major brands have their own highlights
From the ranking point of view, although Great Wall Motors has fallen out of the top three, the gap between it and Geely Automobile and BYD is not large. According to the data, Great Wall Motors sold 100,900 vehicles in March, of which more than 10,000 units were sold in overseas markets, an increase of 30.8% year-on-year.
From the perspective of specific sales structure, the five major brands increased in March compared with February. Although behind the growth, major brands also have hidden worries. For example, in terms of the Haval brand, the monthly sales of haval H6 are 21,600 vehicles, which may be surpassed again by the Changan CS75 family, the BYD Song family, and cr-V models.
In terms of the Euler brand, it sold 14,000 vehicles in March, of which Euler Good Cat sold 6,374 vehicles, after Euler has announced the suspension of orders for black and white cats. That is to say, in the product structure of Euler in March, except for Euler good cats, the rest of the sales may be black and white cats that have not completed the delivery of orders. With the completion of the delivery of stock orders, if new products such as ballet cats and lightning cats have not yet been listed, the sales of the brand may be greatly affected.
However, Great Wall Motors' lineup of new cars listed in the first quarter should not be underestimated. Among them, the tank 500, which will open the first vehicle delivery in late April, is expected to re-add sufficient ammunition for the tank brand.
