Geely Automobile announced today that its new mid-to-high-end new energy series will be officially named "Geely Galaxy", and the first product will adopt a new design, three electric and intelligent technologies.
Previously, Geely Automobile CEO Gan Jiayue said at the internal annual management work conference held on February 4 that the Geely brand will officially release the "Geely brand new energy strategy" at the main venue of the Hangzhou Asian Games on February 23, and launch the Geely brand's mid-to-high-end new energy series. The first product will also make its world premiere.
According to the previously released teaser map, Geely's high-end brand may be positioned as a medium and large sedan. The shape of the lower enveloping part cannot be judged for the time being, but from the outline, the shape of the front lip part seems to be exaggerated, and there may be a relatively large deflector on both sides, which should focus on sportiness.
In terms of powertrain, the future models of Geely Galaxy series will be mainly large-mileage PHEVs and pure electric models, of which large-mileage PHEVs will undoubtedly be equipped with Raytheon hybrid system, and pure electric models will also adopt "world-class new energy architecture".
